Well I don't know what the hell that means. Anyway, I should ask, what does M and m represent, why are they different things? And to clarify for the stupid guest, I mean what do they represent, not what they mean, I know they are mass, but which mass? Also, I see what you are saying about time, but I don't understand why you are saying it. Given that it is a function of sin(wt) and therefore of w*t, and that w is the angular velocity, I don't see why you do not just call it a function of position. If w happens to be a function of time too, then one can see that w*t becomes w(t)*t, which one should recognise as the first antiderivative of angular velocity with respect to t, which one could just replace in the equation with O(t), where O is theta. So it is in fact a function of position.
Also, I have finished a version of the model and still don't get how it is supposed to get back on the lever to perpetuate the movement, or is it not supposed to, it is supposed to get back on later in conjugtion with the addition of other mechanisms? In the model I have constructed, the teeter toter rolls and one part gets onto a stable platform, taking itself off the lever. But the other part is still on the lever, and on the right side, so that side decends and the left part ascends, which Georg says will then lift the part that came off. What I don't understand is why he thinks it would do this as the moment the lever comes in contact with the part that is off, the part exerts its weight on it. However, the weight that is causing the lifting is still close to the center while the weight that is supposed to be lifted id still far from the center, so it will not lift, it just stops upon contact.

Maybe this makes it clearer,
that the left force is not equal to the right force. It is still the TT, but is able
to do periodical work when on a lever. The energy in TT itself is constant. But during move on the lever, it turns the lever up and down.

That pretty much the same as the other. What does the spring do, and why? How do you get the left part back onto the lever, or is this supposed to be a one shot device that has to be reset?
Actually, it occurs to me now that I don't think this newer version will do things by itself, one weight falls while one rises, so there is no net torque to move the system, unless they are not at the same angle exactly, in which case it will move a little.
So where are you going with this?

more to think about, for thouse who are working with eccentric weights, and not with pendulums.
In which direction are the weights moving, rolling ? The weights, left and right shoud be cylinders, left side 2 kg, right side 3 kg with an other mass distribution. Right side should be 2 times 1,5 kg = 3 kg, mass is black.
We have an oscillation force on the right, and a constant force on the left.

So you have a segmented cylinder connected by three springs, thats great, but what does it do?
I've been looking back over some of your concepts. Maybe you are approaching the problem from a different perspective from me, and I applaud this, but I don't understand how your ideas apply to a self-sustaining wheel. Some of them seem incomplete and some of them are asking for a lot of.................um.......................divine intervention.
But don't let this get you down, your approach is quite innovative, and as always, you have been very generous in sharing.

Combine segmented cylinder with COG technic.
8 of the segmented cylinders where in the wheel. They act in pairs !!
All is well balanced. But the first tilt ... and you ever are out of balance.

Will not the segmented pieces remain in proximity to the axis regardless of their relative position to each other...?
