For a clockwise rotation of the wheel with a clockwise twist of the slots:
On the RHS a weight falls from the inner wheel to the outer wheel
down the Gravity-Mass gradient and down the Inertia-Mass gradient.
On the LHS a weight falls from the outer wheel to the inner wheel
down the GM gradient but up the IM gradient.
Therefore the impact impulse on the RHS igreater than on the LHS.
and so the wheel turns clockwise and the cycle is repeated as each
pair of weights comes into position.

The man on the left has a large hammer representing the weight
falling from the inner wheel to the outer wheel.
The boy on the right has a small hammer representing the weight
falling from the outer wheel to the inner wheel.
It was rumoured that Keno was descended from Bessler and had some of
his documents. It may well be he had a copy of the toys page which gave
him the idea for building his Wheel.
