Yes; it is unfortunate that people in many countries due to the global conglomerate media have this opinion of the bread basket of America. Most I think if they would visit there would go home with a different view. My opinion those gun toting rights (right to bear arms the Second Amendment) is what keeps democracy alive in the free world. The rest of the free world should be grateful they reap the benefits without the side effects.Well, the positive thing for America, it shows that even though there are a lot of gun toting inbred hillbilly flat-earthers…

Mao Zedong once said "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." That's how dictatorships are established, by force.
"...it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of Nature."

WOW !!..I don't think the media calling the protesters goons etc. will alleviate the situation ,what happened to the right to assemble ,surely anyone with any sense could have predicted what was about to and did take place...the mind boggles.

We watched the events in the United Sates of America during the evening; on all the news channels available.
The primary reason was too take note of how the narrative will change during and after.
We respect this is an internal matter for the electorate of America.
I only put forward one thing 'Integrity' exists before anything else.
Not only does it need to exist but needs to be proved in the long term and not just in the moment.
All the Best to you at this time.

We've been demonstrated how some 'think' that democracy is supposed to be 'kept alive' in a proclaimed free world...
...by goons who apparently thought they could 'persuade' the senate that some made a 'wrong choice' in that election somewhere last year.
Some minds may be easily boggled but it was forewarned by incitement. That works best on goons.
Non-goons may need a moment but are still able to accept the mathematical truth that with "winner-takes-all" elections (and referenda) the outcome will be close to 50-50 when given enough time to 'inform'.Merriam webster wrote:Definition of goon
1: a stupid person
2a: a man hired to terrorize or eliminate opponents
2b: ENFORCER, sense: player (as in ice hockey) known for rough play and fighting
The 50-50 happens even when goons, elsewhere on the spectrum, 'think' they gamed the system early with locally successful GerryMandering- and voter-suppression schemes for instance.
With four deaths and defused pipe-bombs, I think 'the media' informed us well with the term "Goon".
When looking for 'alleviation', you need to look at the one who's supposed to lead the country.

So all protesters are goons i suppose that includes those protesters in Hong Kong who believe themselves to be wronged....you can't brush aside easily what people believe....listening would be better and not insulting....it won't help any situation....

I guess only one side has the right to assemble and protest as in BLM and the always ongoing Portland Antifa and anarchist groups. Who remembers how the left protested on DC when Trump took over; me neither.

Goons only pretend they want someone to listen, what they really want is to fight. Besides, listening to right wing conspiracy theories makes everyone dumberer.rasselasss wrote:...listening would be better and not insulting...

Like it or not this is how the US political system is supposed to work with their second amendment. When majority of the people feel that their government is corrupt they have the means to fight back. It is not about what the international media wishes to force feed the rest of the world. They will figure it out themselves; probably best if other countries stay out of it.
Yes Bill, all those Senators, Congressmen and States challenging the election are conspiracy theory nuts. Ever get the feeling you are only getting one side of the story. Chinese people will tell you confidently that Hong Kong protestors are wrong.listening to right wing conspiracy theories makes everyone dumberer.

Without merit and without proof. If you believe the majority.daxwc wrote:Yes Bill, all those Senators, Congressmen and States challenging the election are conspiracy theory nuts.
The politics of division makes monkeys out of men. IMHO.
re: Donald Trump 2016?
Majority of who Ovyyus? The media? The majority of people think the election was stolen. Even over 20% of registered democrats think that never mind the independents or RNC.Without merit and without proof. If you believe the majority.
Without merit? It would seem that way when the media will not discuss what the issues really are they are fighting about. States just don’t try to overturn others states electoral vote on whims. I think on county levels the people know what’s going on.

re: Donald Trump 2016?
It was never a judicial problem in the first place that why the Supreme Court wouldn’t hear any cases. It is up to the electoral college and the political arm to figure it out from my understanding unless they had actual people to convict.

All; some; a part of it; other unrelated people...: Venn diagram.rasselass wrote:So all protesters are goons i suppose that includes those protesters in Hong Kong who believe themselves to be wronged....you can't brush aside easily what people believe....listening would be better and not insulting....it won't help any situation....
So all protesters are goons
Some protesters believed Trump would walk by their sides as promised; he was not and likely ate popcorn at the telly.
Some protesters shared their wish for another electoral outcome; it was already set.
The goons are the ones who force-entered that federal building without invitation.
The projection is that you like to see them as victims yet, no matter your source medium, goons stormed a building and threatened government officials.
i suppose that includes those protesters in Hong Kong who believe themselves to be wronged....
What about Hong Kong? (Meanwhile, somewhere else...)
We could talk about the Chinese who turned Hong Kong into a single-party system.
The projection is that similar absolute power is exactly what the Trump cult steers at by calling it "stealing" from the other side while trying to invalidate the opposing votes in whichever way possible.
you can't brush aside easily what people believe....
It's indeed easier to brush people at a rally and fill their minds with slogans to believe.
For at least five years people are made to believe that the system is rigged.
Trump may have won this so-called rigged system the first time. And not the second time.
You can look up the results from years before: around 50-50.
The projection is... (I'll not tell you). Simply, hope to have better luck next time.
listening would be better and not insulting....it won't help any situation....
What you are saying is that it's better to listen to the early election results (or perhaps await official count) than to listen to fear-mongering maniacs.
There are about as many who contracted Covid in the White house (because they refused to listen to science), as there are lost lawsuits (because they insult their own system).
Those lawsuits were shouted as to unmask voter fraud, but were not presented as such inside the courts.
Believing they were, as shouted, is actually an insult to those who believed and listened to these so-called voter fraud warriors, but... oh never mind.
The projection is that instead of listening, some people only have room for easy catchphrases.
Uh-huh, so it would seem.daxwc wrote:It would seem that way when the media will not discuss what the issues really are they are fighting about.

re: Donald Trump 2016?
Right ME. Damn Donald even brainwashed 20 percent of the democrats. Or maybe the people who live there know more than somebody in Holland. Hundreds of years of a bad voting system is why they are here; the issues are the same every election and nothing gets fixed. It doesn't get fixed because they don't want it fixed on both sides. It took a political outsider to put the pot to broil, it always was about who could cheat the most. The problem is cheating against a populist is hard. They knew where the goal posts were the second time around.

Sure and the day 30 years down the line when the CIA releases classified documents that cofirm the virus leaked out of the Wuhan Institute will I get an apology? Probably then science will not even do; you will need a court case.also, while you're at it, get a discount on your family pack anti-corona toothpaste (true story, untrue fact).
