Donald Trump 2016?

re: Donald Trump 2016?
Can't Biden calm all this down by promising in his first year to have a transparent investigation (Bi-Partisan) of the entire voting system methodology and implementation integrity ? And then make changes to improve the democratic process for all the people so that this discussion is closed down once and for all ?
You fix a system from inside the system. If enough people on both sides have the will to fix something, or at least take a long hard look at it, then it can be fair and fit for purpose for future voters, regardless of what that system legally is now.

There is dead scientists’ too so big overinflated deal. Masks only stop around 25% of the transmission rate. Science isn’t the new religion, people still have rights. There are about as many who contracted Covid in the White house (because they refused to listen to science).
What goes around, comes around.
re: Donald Trump 2016?
Fletcher believe me they don't want it fixed. Also every state has its own voter system which Biden or the judicial branch has no control over.

Yes, I was aware of each states situation. You'd think they'd all be on the same footing.
Good luck, even tho I know you're Canadian.
No one fixes it then its all b.s. as far as I'm concerned.

There was way too many of these cases. https://www.rt.com/usa/506723-nahshon-g ... tennessee/
How big was the problem, nobody knows because nobody is investigating the problem, in fact the State made sure nobody is looking into it. Like the saying goes: If you see one rat in open daylight there is thousand you don’t see.

Just for the record I believe Trump went too far. He will pay the price … I think 8)))
It is sort of like playing cards and all sides are cheating. Calling out one side leads to that you are cheating too. Yet you cheat so you also have a fair shot at winning. Maybe the biggest problem is only having really two political parties? Where is the people to turn? If your side wins by cheating will you be happy to engage in investigations that might look in your backyard? How do you get the political will in a two part system? No one fixes it then its all b.s. as far as I'm concerned.

We had First Past the Post for most of modern history here. Then about 28 years ago changed to MMP (Mixed Member Proportional). Bring back the good ol'days where parties could lead. Now we have king makers and minor parties who hold everyone to ransom. Horse trading on everything and everyone with an agenda, no matter how pathetic. This year the first clear majority in the MMP era, and no excuses to actually get things done. That will upset a few people in the corridors of power - collect your salary and actually having to keep your promises.
All it does is make the two majors more centrist so you can hardly tell them apart ;7)

re: Donald Trump 2016?
In Canada we have the Contemporary Multi-Party System there is as many parties as can qualify and there is no limit. We have even had the satirical Rhinoceros Party. Unfortunately there is king makers here also and we now have a minor party holding the government ransom. But what we do have is a rubber stamping Senate so that there isn’t the gridlock like in the US. All my life I have heard US presidents promise all these great things but they never get done when elected and it is not that they don’t try like Trump’s border wall as a good example. Regan's second term was the last time I seen a Americian president get anything done. What Canada has done is an adequate job of is keeping the lobbing and graft somewhat in check. Also strict id voter system with paper ballots in federal elections. It is my opinion multi-party systems end up limiting lobbing and graft due to laws that come about due to voter dissatisfaction in which a reform party come about no matter which side your political views lean to. You don’t have to hold your nose and vote. Don't get me wrong Canada's system has many faults too.

If Pelsoi and the Democrats impeach Trump before the 20th it would be giving a two figure salute to the 47% who voted for him...it would'nt unify the country ...if she gets her way God help America....she seems twisted, some sort of personal grudge towards Trump.

Of course on que today NBC goes straight to identity politics as the problem. If you were protesting the election even if misguided surely you are a racist and want supreme white power. What crap, no wonder there is high tension. The people have to be tired of it, not everything comes down to race.

If that was true wouldn’t this guy a black BLM activist who also stormed the capital be dead or is he a racist too?
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/anti-t ... -wednesday
Both sides have to tone it down. 47% of the people in the USA who voted for Trump are not all racist. Nothing like putting fuel on the fire NBC.
Mark Steyn a Canadian always makes me laugh with his commentary where ever I see him.

When I am offered too vote for a proportional method system I say No.
There is something direct when you read a manifesto [contract with the voters] then check the elected government has complete their election pledges.
Where a system creates a parliament [representatives] without a clear majority the above can not happen.
However this in effect creates tyranny until the next elections.
So it helps for there to be a multi-party system where there is more than two parties.
Also the cost of running in the elections does not need an obscene amount of cash.
Note. A systemic tyranny appears when am obscene amounts of money is required.

Daxwc, you get no apology.daxwc wrote:ME:Sure and the day 30 years down the line when the CIA releases classified documents that cofirm the virus leaked out of the Wuhan Institute will I get an apology?also, while you're at it, get a discount on your family pack anti-corona toothpaste (true story, untrue fact).
It was scientist Li Wenliang who gave all of us the early warning, and died (7 feb 2022).
We all knew early enough. Earlier is usually better.
The John Hopkins Covid tracker was up and running in early February.
I became aware of that website in late February, I call that late.

Sorry to hear your disregard for life.daxwc wrote:There is dead scientists’ too so big overinflated deal. Masks only stop around 25% of the transmission rate. Science is not a religion, it's a search for knowledge.
You may find some correlation and still form a bad conclusion.
That's completely different from knowing and then promote the opposite.
The president, self proclaimed to be the most informed person in the world, is the one who (let's say) "worked around it".
According to the president it was a hoax from the Democrats; fake news; it will disappear;
Because of these ()either deliberate or ignorant) untruths there were multiple outbreaks in the Whitehouse. Late in the year!
Someone had to be sneaked into the supreme court, some fundraisers, and other meetings.
No one, at least those who paid some attention, wonders how those outbreak came to be!
It all adds to disregard, adds to ignorance, adds to division, adds to promoting lies and deception.
In a social environment: You indeed have the right to contract Covid if you want;
In a non-social environment you would hear: Please don't fill up the hospital bed when you do!
Distance reduces the spread.
Like firecrackers that ignite less likely with enough distance when you throw a life-one in the pool, it's still possible that some fire up too.
Masks are not perfect, but it's similar. Distance? Same.
Vaccination, in case you wonder? With 95% there'll still be five per hundred who may(!) still contract Covid, and maybe you grow an extra ear. Yet overall the multiplication factor of the virus gets down. It's a similar distancing effect, not perfect but, still much better...
This year we all expect that the fear-mongers will focus on that 5% (which is indeed still a lot) and that extra ear while remaining clueless on the rest.

This is my uS-first-amendment right I'm exercising here.
Which includes the US's right to receive foreign viewpoints.
And with it the right to object, to reject, and to find it incredibly stupid. ("it": both ways)
According to some uS-rules/laws I'm not allowed to advocate violence, cause disorder, and advocate for "the overthrow of any government".
I don't, some others do.
Fact remains that when government officials advocate for "the overthrow of a government" when that government is their own, then we call that an attempted coup.
In the Wednesday 'gathering' there was nothing that advocated such "unity" you speak of.
There was neither much 'unity' in all the Tr*mp-'rhetoric' during all those years before, was there?

Seems you're not really an expert in making 'unifying" statements on a for you foreign country. Is there anything you like about them Democrats that makes unification worthwhile?rasselasss wrote:If Pelsoi and the Democrats impeach Trump before the 20th it would be giving a two figure salute to the 47% who voted for him...it would'nt unify the country .
