That is a seriously flawed view. Real life examples are staring right at you with newspapers. If a newspaper prints a deliberately false story they can be sued. This keeps newspapers in check as in the Covington teen case. Newspapers still exist. Newspapers are still biased. If Google algorithms turn up searches first for obvious false narratives nothing right now happens to them. Google is not supposed to be the weapon of the government or foreign operatives. What Google helped China do is already headed here.

My take on big tech is they're utilities. A private utility can't deny someone because of race,
sex, etc.

Also big tech is acting like a branch of government. They've overstepped. A day of
reconning is on it's way. Their monoply will be busted as was Ma Bell. Similar.

"Big Tech behaves as if they’re the new rulers of the world, and they need to be stopped. At last, the pushback has begun"
https://www.rt.com/op-ed/514418-big-tec ... -pushback/

"In Uganda, during its recent presidential election, Facebook was caught deleting accounts and pages in support of the sitting president, Yoweri Museveni. In response to this interference, Museveni accused Facebook of blocking messages sent by his ruling National Resistance Movement. “Why would anyone do that? he said. “I told my people to close it. If it is to operate in Uganda, it should be used equitably. There is no way anybody can come [here] and play around with our country and decide who is good [and] who is bad.

So President Museveni banned Facebook from his country."

Maybe hopefully I was wrong about the avalance coming only from a G7 country.

That's becoming more and more evident, daxwc. Often I've heard media types say, "it's like
that scene from [some movie] when reporting the news. Recently they put some
speculation out and say, " if true!" and you have to agree. For instance if pigs flew! we'd
have to look everywhere when outside. Well yea!

Back in the day in the before times my grandpappy got his narratives from the daily local
paper and Walter Cronkite. That's right, ABC, NBC & CBS. We watched Kennedy get shot
(& buy some corn flakes) and man walk on the moon (& the Marlborough man).

We never heard about all the bootie the Kennedy boys were getting or how MLK watched a
rape at that DC hotel. Didn't fit the narrative.

Then big tech came and anyone could be Walter Cronkite! Anyone could sell
cornakes! That model grew big tech to the point it's now big brother. You will say what
they want you to say or they'll piss in your corn flakes!

It's a crazy world. Florida is fighting back.
