very impressive work but you know it will not work this way.

What is needed is a 2 stage oscillation, a parasitic oscillation.

You can modify this easily.

In the middle part you can fasten some pendulums as shown in the picture,
This will allow you the 2 stage oscillation.

You still have to modify the rope length of the pendulum so that the swinging is synchronized.
The length of the rope has an huge effect.

Test it, and you will see the result.

1) Continue to lift the small 12 h mass...

Having quality development is good to see.

It does allow the known issues to be reviewed.

As we know rotational energy is being used to lift the weights back to their original position.

Also we know changing direction of a masses uses up energy.

Notice. If you lock all the weights in the radial position then
the main wheel will acted like a fly wheel.
When you unlock the weights the wheel will slow down quicker.

The good news is when we look at the fundamental cause one can look at revering the cause.

I am away form today. So to get things back on track 'in the animal kingdom'.

Using a flywheel device as out base system. We can test for how long it rotates for a given input of energy. In your case to have included an extra inertial geared wheel.

Then replace with the weights radially fix and test again. You get air resistance of cause.

Next allow movement of the weight. You are using energy from the rotating wheel to move the weights. So it slows down even more. That is fine for it all part of a learning curve.

We all appreciate an acceleration is a result of a force of energy; be taken from it?
Well as we know if you take you also have to give back.

So what about swinging the weights in your device down and around instead of just up?
