MT13 has no positive advantage. When you lift the weight with your hand, you are not just lifting it, you are removing its influence from the wheel. This does not happen with a ramp.

MT13 is like a car without an engine. adding a pendulum or more arms or more rollers or a different shape ramp will not make it self perpetuate.

@Tarsier, you are right the MT13 doesn't need an engine since everything is already there.
I think you didn't understand my explanation, the MT13 can do without a balance wheel like any other piece of junk.
Just a little more patience to show you when you lift the 11 o'clock weight in a certain way, and also lift the noon weight in another way, I promise you that you will see the motor (smile).

Hello to all,
Thanks Flether, I am convinced that I am right, by the experience in front of the proto, on the other hand the implementation will remain complicated. Last night I tried to start my version 01 of the elevator, and it did not work ... I continue despite everything, I would like to point out that the torque obtained by lifting the flyweight is ten times higher than the tilting of the weights around 12 o'clock. I am considering too many solutions, so I have to calm down...
One of them makes me say that the best solution to lift a weight is that this weight is a ball, which would roll on the side a sufficient time to make a wheel reactive.

Georg, I would like to apologize for my words that may have hurt you, but without intention. I think that the language barrier as well as your restraint concerning your patent explain the rest. Thinking that you were stubborn enough in your speech that there was a minimum of truth, I looked into why. So I reviewed Galileo's isochronism, as well as "The Botafumeiro" and there I finally understood in detail your half-masked message.
We have to try anyway, knowing that indeed B had to know the principle.

I compare this principle to a whip that crosses the 1224 km/h, the sound barrier, something to think about. (smile)

Hello thx4

I think it is helpful for members too apologize. We should show tolerance, empathy & appreciation. We all have life histories that molded the characteristic of our personalities.

Adversity builds character. Well we have quite a few characters here.

Also not only our life histories affect us, but also the adversity of the industrious grinding cogs of the Bessler Quest.

Lets oil those cogs with supportive recognition.

Note. Your 'Recognition' has improved by a level.

P.S. I trust other members can review their 'Recognition' allocation to reinforce this sentiment.

Sincere apologies are very powerful.

When will the universe apologize for its discrimination against beautiful and perfectly
good ideas? One paints their model then the universe refuses to let this wheel of color
work!!

As a person of color I'm deeply offended.

I think the universe should apologize.

and another thing.
Although I'm incredibly handsome, there are a lot of ugly people out there.
What's up with that?

I think the universe owes you people an apology.
You know who you are.

Thank you agor95, yes it's not always easy, especially if like me you are lucid 10 minutes a day lol.
To come back to the subject, while observing the MT51 this morning, I saw some similarities with the MT13 (well my version), the cross-shaped balance.
It will be easier to give a shake at the end of the rod than to lift a weight, even if ....
I'm going in that direction.

Hi thx4

You do inspire a direction of research.

If we have the two T pendulum in their odd out of phase motion.
Then use one of your masses to push at the top of the swing.
Then help lift the another mass at the top using the bottom of the swing.

The two objections would be

1. Bessler illustrated these T-Pendulum but did he use them?
2. Energy into a pendulum results in energy out net zero; or does it?

Regards & keep lucid

Hello to all,
Currently the cross of the balance in my version is located below the main axis, which is not the case of the MT51, which is above, and this changes everything in terms of regularity of the movement and its maintenance.
I also review the cam, still not perfect.
A simple picture of the balance holder and the cam holder, after 8 hours of printing we will know more.

Just a small video showing the raw state of the wheel which shows that everything is played at noon. :)

Could you clarify this statement [US: disambiguate].

How was it disturbing? What were you expecting too happen and how was it different from your expectation?

Note. There is a design option you may want to follow.
Hello to all,
Sorry Agor95, I'm a bit long ...
Here is the experiment I did a few years ago, creating a slight unbalance, an acceleration only needs to be maintained, I did not pursue at the time, but why not.

Quite a lot of new things in this video, I've set up the pendulum like in the MT51 except that it's not connected to anything, so it inevitably runs out. I added a solid inertia disk a little heavier, but it has a slight defect, a little unbalance you will see on the video.
I still have to find a way to link the balance to the inertia disk in the descent and it's won I think, it takes only 3 swings to pass the unbalance. The worst thing in this example is that if it works, the weights won't be of any use to me anymore, so the MT13 won't either and the MT51 will take its place (smile).

Small change of judgment and orientation.I'm not done with the MT13. :)
I do a little experiment this morning to validate what I saw yesterday, I dismantle the cam that allows to lift the weights thinking that I will gain a little energy and there nothing more, the unbalance is very weak and drags, finally nothing motor compared to yesterday, so the weights are essential that can lead to a permanent mobility in the absolute. Finally, it is logical that the tilting of the weights at point 4 drives the wheel with a greater acceleration.
So we have three mobile parts, a block (the wheel with the weights, the inertia disc), the weights which tilt, and the balance.

I would have thought that the unbalanced wooden wheel is causing a reasonable amount of deception.
Your build is of excellent quality, and everything other than the wooden wheel, is pretty accurately balanced, with it all functioning with little friction. I wouldn't be surprised that if you were to have the wheel perfectly balanced, that you would find the impression of it being a possible runner will decrease, but the length of time and ease with which it functions increase.
This is only from my own observations and what i can get from the videos.
As always, i hope i am wrong and there is something i am missing.

I think this echoes the sentiment of many. Even though not many comment, a lot are watching.

I admire your implementation of your ideas. I call that plan B. Just do it.

Best of luck.
