Good! Very good! In one word, you admit the fact that the zigzag device severely violates the law of conservation of mechanical energy as the inlet energy is equal to 0.5 J and the outlet energy is equal to 0.2 J. The last fact is simply impossible from the point of view of standard classical mechanics if friction is either equal to zero or so small that can be neglected.
Do you accept the simple obvious fact that a kinetic energy of 0.3 J simply disappers thus breaking severely and obviously the law of consevation of mechanical energy?
Looking forward to your answer.
I think there have been way more words than one, but why quibble.

Attached please find a simulation with all frictions (even air) set to zero demonstrating
modern physics is well aware a zig-zaging eats energy.

    Therefore Pete-ie is a zig-zag
This is an excellent device for stopping a perpetual motion machine if it were to run away
and melt down. All PM machines should be mandated to have this mechanism installed.

You have saved the world Pete-ie and are destined for fame and glory.

What is next? I am answering you immediately.
Please look again at the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX14NK8GrDY
-----------------------------
1) A Nobel prize for that member of our team, who invented the zigzag mechanical concept. Because whatever to say the zigzag mechanical concept is a true revolution in physics.
-----------------------------
2) A popularization of the zigzag mechanical concept on a large scale all over the world. The zigzag mechanical concept must become an integral part of any existing textbook/manual/educational course in physics all over the world.
-----------------------------
3) The violation of the law of mechanical energy, which is described in the link above, can be used for a substantial decreasing of the recoil of any standard firearm as this does not influence in any way this standard firearm's range. (Besides in principle it is possible to use the new mechanical effect several times in a row thus reducing the recoil practically to zero.)
------------------------------
4) The violation of the law of conservation of mechanical energy, which is described in the link above, can be used for designing of an entirely new kind of a shock-absorber. The latter can be used for absorbing of the kinetic energy of any bullet and/or for absorbing of the shock wave of any explosion thus saving human lives and/or preventing injuries. (Besides in principle it is possible to use the new mechanical effect several times in a row thus reducing the negative and harmfull effects practically to zero.)
-------------------------------
5) The violation of the law of conservation of mechanical energy, which is described in the link above, can be used for designing of an entirely new kind of a shock-absorber. The latter can be installed on any vehicle thus saving human lives and/or preventing injuries. (Besides in principle it is possible to use the new mechanical effect several times in a row thus reducing the negative and harmfull effects practically to zero.)

Third post in this blog.
I think the intent is clear.
George1 wrote:Hi Art,
Thank for you letter of Jul 29, 2018 7:09 am. Your considerations are very professional and profound. You are obviously an expert. But I have a few small objections and I would like to let you know about them.

(1) Modern technologies allow production of special surfaces and/or lubricants which are able to decrease standard friction many times.

(2) If you replace sliding friction with rolling friction, then friction will be immediately reduced hundreds and thousands of times. (Rolling friction is in inverse proportion to the radius of the rolls/wheels. If you increase the wheel's radius n times, then friction will be decreased n times respectively.)

(3) The blue ball and the zig-zag channel could be made of permanent magnets thus forming a practically frictionless (no-touch) slide. (There are hundreds of similar devices in YouTube and in Internet, in general.)

(4) Yes, you are absolutely right that it is impossible to have zero friction under any circumstances. But it is AN AXIOM of theoretical and applied mechanics that if friction is assumed negligible, then this means that friction is so small (small enough, but not equal to zero!) that it does not practically influence the proper operation of a certain real mechanism/mechanical system/mechanical process. Any expert in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics is familiar with the above mentioned AXIOM and will never argue about its validity.

(5) The same for the inertia forces. The smaller the blue ball's mass, the smaller the inertia forces. The blue ball's mass could be made so small (small enough, but not equal to zero!) that it would not practically influence the proper operation of the system. (Please look at previous item 4 and simply replace "friction" with "inertia forces".

(6) Any good idea for a waterproof paper bag for a possible money flow is welcome. In general, we are open for any kind of collaboration of mutual benefit.

Looking forward to your answer.

Best regards,

George

It is quite evident the stakes are high in this zig-zag game. On the precise day, 25 Jan 2021,
PeterAX showed up, George Sen petered out, Last Visit: Mon Jan 25, 2021 12:47 pm.

One can only conclude PeterAX has been colluding with the Ruskies and they took poor
George Sen out of the picture. Probably offed him with covid and Jeffrey Dahmer'ed him.

Makes me sick to think what PeterAX did to Mr Sen.

Please excuse me. It's my fault. Instead of "Still no answer from you." I meant actually "Still no message from you."

PeterAX, your #1 objective is a Nobel prize. My #1 objective is to invest in something demonstrated to work. If prizes were awarded for undemonstrated claims of success then we would have several laureates on this forum already. I wish you luck with the Nobel Committee.

I think he has got a chance with the Nobel committee.
They will get so pissed off with the repeated claims they will give him one just to shut him up.

I doubt that you can invest something. But if we assume hypothetically that you are really a serious investor, then (1) how much money are you ready to invest and (2) what else do you want to know exactly (as everything is clearly described and explained in the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX14NK8GrDY )?

Yes, your idea is really excellent!:) Many times repeated claims => Nobel prize! Perfect! Appreciate your sense of humour!:)
By the way, what do you think personally about the mechanical processes, described in the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX14NK8GrDY ? It is interesting for me to know your personal opinion.
Looking forward to your answer.

what else do you want to know...
The "animations/simulations" in your youtube slideshow depict wrong physics. Is this intentional or a mistake?
