Anyone wants to be a part of this opportunity?

Post by Leafy »

Here is how it works:

I have a design of this system.
The cost is a patent and a prototype.
Let’s say it cost $2000. We need to raise this money from shares.
The patent will register as shareholders.
We hire people or company to build and publish it.
I would trade everything to see her again, even a perpetual motion machine…

You are not the first or the last. Stage 1 independent proof the patent embodies a functional product.

I have $50K sitting around collecting dust.

Let me know where to send the check.

Life is boring without a perpetual motion machine. You know this lol.

High risk high reward. Time to start something.

It doesn’t have to work for a patent, hence there is a risk. What do you have to lose?

You seriously have 50k for perpetual motion? I was thinking a few hundred bucks for each person. Lol.

Yeah, Raj may have more motive for PM, but I wouldn’t want anyone going into PM with high hope or investment.

Leafy .. IIRC you DO NEED a working prototype to gain a patent on a "PM machine". The examiner must be able to verify that it does what you say in your abstract etc. This was brought in some time ago specifically for this class of device, because they were inundated previously.

You could go the Raj route which is file a provisional patent in some countries for a few pesos and that gives you protection for 1 year. Then you can build your prototype to get the full patent. Or as Raj also does call it something else, like a kinetic toy (not a PM machine).

Remember having a provisional patent or a full patent gives you the right to defend your patent in court. A process which can take years and cost many pesos. And no guarantee that you will collect a cent.

Thanks Fletcher,

I wouldn’t claim PM. It creates problems and not worth the issue. I would just claim it as gravity assist generator. I mean we give the patent office jobs and wasn’t claiming anything but offer us protection 90% (10% for self run we chose to ignore). I think they would let us pass.

I guess no one is confident about the PM thing.

I will show you how energy is gained from conservative force gravity.

On the left of this figure, a ball approach and hit the wall. It bounce back with the same speed.
On the right of this figure, a ball approach and hit the wall. This time gravity is involved. It bounce back with the same speed.

As you notice gravity is aiding the collision on the way down BUT retarding the collision on the bounce back. We can say that the ball transfer more energy to the surface on its way down because gravity is helping. On the bounce back, the surface return that extra energy to the ball BUT gravity retard the process and take that energy away. The ball bounced back with the original speed.

So you see, the two stages bounce are not the same. All we need to do is exploit this and eliminate the retarding process to get a gain.

Good luck exploiting that. As soon as the wall absorbs energy instead of returning it, the ball bounces less high, so the energy gained by the wall has to be returned to the ball for reset.

If the ball start with 10 energy, gravity will help impart 10+ energy to the surface. If the surface reset the ball, it takes 10+ energy to reset it to 10. We can reset it with 10 and keep the extra +.

so where did the first 10 come from? You are just moving the 10 from the start to the wall. For reset the ball needs another 10.

To reset the ball against gravity, the wall need more than 10.

Agreed.

Te ball starts with 10. It gains 10 from gravity, we have 20.

The ball hits the wall(floor) with 20. We harvest none.

Since we live in a perfect world, for reset we have to impart 10 to the ball for height, and another 10 so it has its original speed.

On the next revolution, the cycle repeats, we harvest 3 from the wall. We now only have 17 to return to the ball....

No, the moment right before it hit the surface is 10. You thinking it transfer 10 to the surface, the surface transfer 10 back, nothing is gained. This is the case on the left without gravity. With gravity, the ball is being pushed and give more than 10(10+) to the surface. The surface required 10+ to restore the ball back to 10 (because it has to work against gravity).
