With Bessler's clues, what meaning do they have? With Fletcher's thread, warped boards around the edge could conceal what linen did not cover.
What Bessler wrote needs to be considered as it would pertain to a working wheel.
With warped boards affecting a difference in balance, I have already researched that and can provide the maths. If considering warped boards as allowing work to be performed then we are getting into hydraulic theory. This would mean that such warped boards were a pump. Their function is limited to providing work and to providing concealment.
And with that said, can someone offer another possibility of what a warped board can do?

A thought on why warped boards mattered. They kept the frame of the wheel aligned. It couldn't twist because of the load it had to with stand. Think sway bars on your car. They don't let your rear axle shift position. That helps to keep your car from rolling over when cornering when going faster than you should be going. Basically warped boards kept the left and right side of a wheel aligned so they remained parallel to each other.

With these 2 videos, they show why moment of inertia matters. It's a principle used when using a flywheel or other mechanisms to govern rotational velocity. When saying perpetual motion is impossible or the keel effect wins every time, no one considers how much energy is wasted in rotating the frame which requires energy as f = ma demonstrates and the energy it requires is based on I = L/w. Inertia = angular momentum divided by angular velocity. In this instance, p = mv. Momentum = mass x velocity. This is pretty basic. And if you don't know it, how would you expect to understand what might work?

Next week I'll probably have the frame reassembled and weighed. When people say that energy cannot be conserved in accordance with the 1st law of thermodynamics, from NASA; https://www.grc.nasa.gov/www/k-12/airplane/thermo1.html
In this instance, the Earth's gravity can be considered as heat. 1 newton of force is = to 1 joule of energy. An example is a 1 kg weight moving at 9.81 m/s will have 9.81 newtons of force or 9.81 joules of energy. And if a 1 kg of weight is moving at .2 m/s then it will have .2 joules of energy. And if those .2 joules of energy are converted into watts/power then .2 joules = .2 watts.
And with the frame, if it weighs as an example 5 kg and it moves at .2 m/s then it will consume 1 watt of energy. Also it is possible that Bessler showed in one of his drawings how to use trigonometry (Newton and Leibniz were still inventing calculus at that time) to understand when/where torque is being developed.
This is kind of why I like math even though with analytical trigonometry or calculus home schooling yourself can be a bit of a challenge. Also with doing the math to know how fast the wheel should rotate, then it can be known how much energy/work is lost due to resistance in the main axle bearings. Then it can be anticipated how slowly the wheel should rotate. What I am building uses leverage to create torque. And I'd say with 20 in./50 cm of over balance that sufficient force should be generated for it to work. And the first priority is a working model. Then that will be considered as proof of concept.

What I am building uses leverage to create torque
A leverage how you do like to implement it will not work.
You can add more weights and also more levers, and still the construction will not self accelerate.
The concept is wrong, in your construction you have always a counter force.
But you can try it of course, I see no chance.
Only my opinion.
I wish you luck with your construction.

The other concept to press a gas in a balloon with a weight is good, so we can convert m*g*h directly into heat.
But we convert it only, we have no additional energy.
Best regards

Georg, witnesses said that they heard 8 knocking sounds per revolution. And that is what I am building to with the current concept.
Also, I went away from using levers. If you notice with the nice build, I removed the levers and then did a torque test. What that wheel looked like with both levers on it. This actually shows various builds that I have done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy172qAD5EY And after having done much math I made my own spreadsheets. I made a diagram of the over balance theory that I am working to. This allows me to compare results to the math I've done. And that is a part of research and development.
I could show the math but if people aren't familiar with using math then they wouldn't get it. I'll try using math Bessler might have used.
If 2 levers lift the top weight, then that weight will be over balanced for 1Pi. With the bottom lever being out of balance, it will be for 1Pi as well.
Since the weights on the lever would need to generate more force than the weight being lifted, that would be subtracted from the over balanced
weight. This would reduce its efficiency while increase the amount of dead weight on the wheel.
By using no levers, when a weight rolls out on its own, it will be over balanced for Pi/2 (Pi or 3.142 over/divided by 2) which is 90º or 1.57 radians. This creates a better ratio when considering torque generated by the over balanced weight and the moment of inertia of the wheel (any mass not generating torque). It's possible that Bessler used springs to help push his weight wheels outward by having a latch release the wheel when it is on a slightly downhill slope and maybe even when its arm is parallel to the ground. This feature can easily be timed/adjusted for maximum efficiency. And why it wouldn't cost any energy is because as the weight wheel rotates upward, it will use gravity to compress the spring.

With the attached diagram, the scale is an 18 inch radius of the drum. The brown section is the retraction disc.
To remind everyone what Bessler wrote; Around the firmly placed horizontal axis is a rotating disc (low or narrow cylinder) which resembles a grindstone. This disc can be called the principle piece of my machine. Accordingly, this wheel consists of an external wheel (or drum) for raising weights which is covered with stretched linen. https://besslerwheel.com/writings/das_triumphans.html

The wheel is the disc and the retraction disc is a part of the drum. What the 2 pulleys do is to shift the line between the fulcrum and the fob to be below the axle of the disc. The dimension shown in the drawing would allow for about 28 1/4 in. of retraction. And this does seem to agree with ratios and how pulleys work. And this is with the retraction disc and the rotation of the wheel.
If anyone noticed, using a disc with twice the diameter didn't allow for the wheel to rotate. This would be because the ratio of the retraction disc to rotation of the wheel was at a 2:1 ratio. By knowing that, the retraction disc I am using is at a 1:1 ratio. If I go .75:1 then it might rotate a little quicker.
What allows this concept to work as demonstrated in my videos is that the distance between the fulcrum and the pulley closest to the fulcrum increases as the wheel rotates. At no time does the weight rotating (swinging) upward move further from the fulcrum. The spar (arm) is actually rotating away from the weight. And this is while gravity will act upon all weights the same. And with the weight at bottom center, if it rotates 90º, it would be close to where the blue line is to the left of the center of the wheel.
Next week I'll be able to post about how much my frame weighs and its moment of inertia. I've got a scale I can weigh it on and have started reassembling it. But I will take my time and will try to enjoy working on this. And after this, it will get into more math because I'll be figuring out how much work is lost due to the friction in the bearings and what net torque is realized by increasing the weight/mass of the weight wheels. It's possible that just building a larger wheel would be better than using heavier weights. And this is for the wheel rotating with no load (ie., not lifting a pallet).

edited to add examples of math that Bessler might have used. With trigonometric identities, they can be answered as values on the unit circle. An example is 45sin X is sqrt2/2. And that equals Pi/4 on the unit circle which could be used to factor Bessler's wheel. If you have studied this type of math then it will be different than basically everything else.

Because of the spamming allowed, I won't post in here any more and my real name is Mark James Lindgaard, killer. Feel better? Just an FYI guys, I was investigated by the FBI in the US over that. Just a waste of their resources because AB Hammer wanted me to give him credit for my work. Of course I served in the US Navy before Mark James Lindgaard was born but AB Hammer is your friend, right? That is what really matters. Kind of why doctors won't help John Collins granddaughter. They're protecting their friends. It is basically that simple. You do need to have your friend's back.

https://besslerwheel.com/forum/viewtopi ... =10&t=4656

This is about James Lindgaard. rlortie encouraged AB Hammer. It was a scam/extortion that went wrong. I should feel guilty for killing my passenger in Minnesota while I was dealing with complications from the treatment of cancer in Kentucky. AB Hammer and rlortie and the Arrache build group made it about themselves. They can have this forum and ask you one question, can you disprove Mr.Tim's "keel effect"?
That's pitting the 2nd law of thermodynamics against the 1st law of thermodynamics. Then again it's like saying Mark James Lindgaard is James Arne Lindgaard who served honourably in the US Navy. My DD 214 is not proof of anything.
My brother Paul's Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/paul.lindgaard message him and ask him if I am his brother. His friend Gene Longo and Gene's girlfriend along with myself went with him when he left for Coast Guard boot camp. Our mother drove. Ask him. Then when you find out that I'm not Mark, you guys seriously fücked üp.
Still, AB Hammer is your friend. Please continue to support him. After all, he does work for rlortie who is a private builder and does not share his work.

p.s., you guys need to understand that people in the U.S. get scammed everyday and yet you guys got scammed over several years. That's gotta hurt. For over a decade you were the patsies. What's that like?

AB Hammer's post to me, he was ordered to give CPR to a corpse in rigor mortis. And the real AB Hammer; https://www.ksla.com/story/37863650/an- ... te-events/ The man you guys love. I don't need this in my life. Still, he is your friend. You should continue to support him and rlortie.

Hopefully Scott will consider when AB Hammer told me, little boy, I will call your father. So much spamming in this forum but nothing is against a man telling a boy "I will call your father". Maybe Scott should consider how those words can be perceived? After all, grown men will mentor "little" boys. The Boy Scouts of America is one example. Grown men mentoring young boys.
Care to keep it up Scott? Word games are easy. And yet you support a grown man saying "come to me little boy" for whatever that means. After all, Jesus said to suffer your children to go to him, right? It's the same thing, right? And that might be what this forum is about. I can't say otherwise. I was banned for pursuing Bessler's work and not for pursuing "little boys".
That I am allowed to post in here is I believe it has to do with John Collins. Change only happens if we work at it. I think he understands this.

It is sad that AB Hammer resorted to emotional abuse to try and get what he wanted. After all, you guys believed I killed someone.
How to atone for that? Give you my work? I posted it but you can't understand it because it takes both time and work to understand something.
And yet AB Hammer said I will show you how to get a working wheel without doing the work. Kind of why the guy who called Bessler a fraud and had him arrested didn't get Bessler's wheel. And that will probably be what Bessler's wheel will be known for. Ruin someone's life if they're willing to do the work.
It is that simple guys. Even if you see a working wheel you wouldn't understand it. It simply wouldn't work the way you'd want it to and that's why no one got very far. As the saying goes, Bessler would've built his wheel "my way". Bessler was successful because he built it his way.

Agreed. It is sad to see someone so delusional and angry going around and around the same path for years. He only hurts himself.I doubt an institution exists that has the skills to help someone like that.
