Scott was forced to migrate to a newer version of the bb, yet all the enhancements he did for us over time didn't migrate.

Well, I'll tell you this much.
The energy does not come from Gravity. This has been pretty obvious from the beginning.

So where does it come from then?

It comes from the rotational energy of the earth, from the differential action of a rotating mass going up and a rotating mass going down.

I had all the pieces of the puzzle. I even had experimental demonstrations of parts.
I suppose the final piece was connecting up to Prof. Eric lifting that heavy gyro.

I have one design on the board werkin' out the kinks. This single idea should be able to resurrect all the corpses from the bone yard at the M.U.D.

Well BBCode for colour works so presumably the others will.

I have just discovered that clicking on BBCode on the right hand side gives a useful guide so that's a plus.

I'll just have to get use to driving instead of using my horse and buggy. 8-)

I believe Grimer lost is password and created Grimer1.
Then I assume there was a merged of posted back into Grimer moniker.

Grimer did contribute well on the site and his website had interesting ideas.
I appreciate his nephew worked with him on his ideas and keeping his legacy going is honourable. You started posting 5 months after Grimer's last post.

This is a good time to know how Grimer is and allow yourself recognition in your own account.

Hi Frank - glad you are back!!

I have also recently returned and am working on a design that employs impacts and CF.

For my possibly interesting tidbit of the day I just realized that MT137 is a lacing diagram to allow/restrain movement of various weights attached near the rim due to CF!!

If the tension is adjusted just right it allows certain weights to extend in the lower right quadrant of the wheel and then cause retraction in the upper left quadrant - all automatically!!

And cleverly enough it works bidirectionally.

And just by sheer cooincidence MT142 shows weights swinging due to CF!

I will be using the identical arrangement in my wheel.

I am Grimer.

I was away from the site for a time and couldn't get back in. I asked Scott to sort it out but for some reason he didn't so I registered as Senax (Caesar code for Frank)
Fortunately I have been able to get back in without problems after this recent break.

I've no idea who Grimer1 is. He is not on the list of members.

Yes grimer1 is no more so I assumed it was merged into grimer.
Your web site has been down for some time.
Also you declared you have given away your Maccano set.
So any references to working on the VimmyWheel looks a little odd.

Now that we have a solution we need to figure out what the question was before we all turn into a huge heap of wrinkles and this heap turns on us and wrinkles our souls!!!

I find using the 'remember me' of the browser is better than the 'remember me' of a site.

I find in Firefox when you login to a site, you can save the id and password.

This is a good way to forget your password so record it in a secure way.
