Just to give you fair warning the steampunk's site is now banning visitors who access webpages that do not exist.

However going to the site will take you to the main index page that does.

If you want to access any other pages on the site Private Message me then
we can arrange the information availability.

That will be via access to a new link that is not in itself connected to the main index page.

P.S. it's good the site is for members and not being drained by others.

The steampunks.website is running on the old platform at this time.

The more strictly filtering version stopped.

So a rebuild is in order for the new platform.

For Your Information

This site uses a Dynamic IP address.
Therefore I use a Dynamic Domain Server to supply a static address.

All sites I created are not working with one exception.

I have wiped out the system's o/s and built from scratch.

Working on the believe that some corruption has happened.

Nothing worked. So I created a really simple test of concept.

The one exception; access is possible to the test site via the Tor Browser only.

All other browsers fail to connect using the web site name.

So I am restricted to creating html5 pages and uploading on the forum only.

Well after doing some revision I have server Alpha a fallback Gama.

Also a development desktop server Delta.

All very covidish.

Now is the process of making the other technologies Glowscript, x3dom & MathJax operational.

On the way Cascading StyleSheets, ScaleVectorGraphics & HTML5 2DCanvasRendering.

Blender revision is on the back burner. The Blender export to X3D is not the best.

P.S. It is good to give your mind some exercise from time to time.

The Blender converter is sorted.

The site should look like the image. I am showing the footer section.

The 4 center images are links that require a PC with a good graphics card.
The 2 picture on the left and right are that with a gif8 in the top left.

Working on another and should be last piece of functionality.
That being 'Photogrammetry'.

However the software used 'Phones Home' when in use; without asking permission.

Being optimistic the idea is a working wheel can be photographed and it's 3D version can be present virtually.

A Working Wheel is one that moves. Not for ever but just moves for some time.

I have got the software running and tested. Also converted the result so it could be installed on the web site.

I am putting this technology on hold for it would exclude some forum members.
There is one thing creating presentations but not if the majority of the members can not see them.

P.S. Been taking photos of objects and processing them to see mini 3D version on my computer screen. It's fun but the number of points in the point cloud is excessive.

There has been some work to achieve this Computer Generated Imagery.
My imagination see a blender animated model. That has been output into MP4 format.

The advanced next step is to extract the positional data and graph the Potential and Kinetic energy.

If this is a blender model then it's possible. Using the programming language present.

I have blocked some IP addresses from companies associated to or part of State Actors.
Also some companies that automate scraping information / innovations from sites without prior owners consent.

Update

I have switch on the Steampunk's web Server for a while.

Generally it exist to present anything new. Then shut it down again.

This stops to much third party actors trying to carry out actions other than uploading a web page.

Note. You could hover your mouse over the blue link and look at the bottom status line on your browser.

P.S. For security you should check the status line and validate the link before clicking.

P.P.S. I do not want to place the link in a post and the crawlers follow it. Those crawlers get everywhere.
