HoverBoard

Post by agor95 »

As we are in the winter season one should look for a gift.

However this one has not been invented yet.

Imagine standing on a surfboard a foot of the ground and silent.

Well almost.

There is air entering all around in vertical edge.
That air is being directed down along the under side; that part is silent to humans.

So we have a inflow of air horizontally and balanced and an outflow down giving thrust.

The air leaving the underside is structured as small torus rings; Like smoke rings.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6aq_Agcr88

These are being produce in cavity ports on the under side.

The air is compressed out of the cavity via a piezoelectric activated set of diaphragm;
Small but powerful.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn6qVv9HzHc

The air is supplied by a series of increasing size cavity like chambers and diaphragm sets.
These are structured to cause flow in with more easy than out; Like a Tesla Valve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suIAo0EYwOE.

So we have a hover board supported by a bed of torus structured exhausted.
Which is created with high frequency sound.
The internal frequency pumps are in harmony with each other.

So if the board makes any sound it is musical.

The internal cavities do cancel some of the volume.

Regards

A piezo fan uses "a fraction of a watt" according to the annoying science-for-dummys guy.

You can buy a piezo fan here: 1 for $400 or 100 @$200ea (US)
https://piezo.com/products/60-hz-piezoe ... -a4br-3005

This piezo fan is 30mW, 2CFM (Cubic Feet/min)

This is a cheap normal fan from a supplier in Australia: $4.18 (AUD)
https://au.element14.com/multicomp/mc00 ... dp/2816688
1.44W, 18CFM (at 0 pressure)

Or Aliexpress:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32809574172.html
$1.15 AUD
3.6W, 20cmf

The only way I see a personal hoverboard being made is something like a hovercraft: Using a cushion of air and a skirt.
https://www.dji.com/au/t40
2 of these drones could carry a light person. Perhaps one of them if you reconfigure it and combine it with a hovercraft skirt.
Each drone is about 15KW $26,000

A cheap version could probably be built with about 20 of these at $130 (AU) each.
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/propdrive-v ... motor.html
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/trackstar-1 ... sc-v2.html

or 10 of these at $330 (AU) ea:

Also, a hoverboard would be difficult to steer, start or stop. You could only use it in a field or over water, or away from people or other vehicles.

That could also be said about Hovercraft.
