Your body language is showing…on the net. Wait , that doesn’t make sense.
I have a feeling plan D is coming.

I would trade everything to see her again, even a perpetual motion machine…

I do have a plan D. I take it to the grave.Your body language is showing…on the net. Wait , that doesn’t make sense
Modified plan D, post the video and when I get 3 trillion subscribers. . .
So what would you do with an answer, Leafy?

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
Our objective is differ WaltzCee,
I only dream of living a solitude life in a cave looking out the rain trickle down the green valley. But I guess in order to do that, I need someone to achieve PM. So what if I have the PM? Give it to somebody in exchange for my dream.

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
Who owns the cave?I only dream of living a solitude life in a cave looking out the rain trickle down the green valley.
I agree solitude's a good thing. Is the cave near a grocery store? Does FedEx or UPS deliver to it?
Does a fundamental discovery in physics merit as many views as a tweerking video?
so many questions . .. .. .
- God - 100%
PM machine -10%
Trust - 5%
Finding someone with a cave willing to barter it for a PM machine - 0.00000001% or less
No trust- 51%

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
Could be artificial cave with internet, a nice bed, fridge, fish tanks in the back, lots of fruits, a private spaceship. You know, the general stuffs.
Anyway, we should continue like Bessler and makes models veiled and put it on university campuses.

Leafy, have you ever been thru ranger training?
How long have you ever survived away from any people, away from civilization?
Can you hang?

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
even if we unveiled, I doubt science know how it works. There will be a lot of theories flying around. I just think it’s fun to watch. But we’re still early in the game so make sure we’re protected financially.
No, I like watching survival and really fascinated by them, but I rather be comfortable in bed all days.

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
SHADOW,
Regrettable, I'm ignorant of computer graphics so can't answer your question. Just the same way that you have it now, except when the ring(s) are at the 12:00 position, draw a short flat portion at the bottom of each ring. Instead of the ring being completely round, it would be slightly "D" shaped. The 'Flat' part lifts the roller up a little bit at 12:00, which makes the wheel top heavy and makes the wheel turn. Also, the teeth can go away, every thing is smooth. No gears needed. I.E., the rollers are the weights and cause the wheel to turn.
I tried my wheel last night, briefly. However the static balance is way off, so have to fix that before I'll know if it's going to work. When the roller gets up onto the flat part of the ring, it rolls out very fast and, hits the out side of the ring with a loud bang!
The drums I have are 9 inches, the rollers are 7 inches, weigh 7 lbs., and the flat portion is 5 inches long. It raises the roller up .8, 8/10 of an inch. Every thing seams to be about right. I'm thank full for your interest---------------------------Sam

SHADOW, I desperately need your drawing. With out it, no one has a clue what I'm doing. It's deceptively simple. For some reason great simplicity is difficult to imagine------------------------ Sam

I am thinking that the holes may as well just be round .

Re: Zeroing in on Bessler's wheel
SHADOW,
Yes, that's it! However, I think four is the maximum, just like you had before. And maybe with the roller a bit bigger in relation to the outer ring. I know, now I'm being picky! The best ratio is still in question. I think the amount of flatness is about right, but still don't know what the best is.
Thank you for your time and consideration; I simply can't thank you enough,(mryy too), and every one else.
Spinner361,
The flat, is a very critical part of the design! The flat part lifts the rollers up. The turning of the rollers, does nothing as far as turning the wheel. It's only the 'weight' of them, that is important. To say it with different words, when the roller rolls up onto the flat part, it makes the wheel top heavy and, that's what makes the wheel turn. Of course, when the rollers return to the bottom, the wheel is balanced! That's the big secret to the whole thing. I.E., how to lift them back up. It's really quite deceptive----------------------------Sam
PS Right, I only want your drawing! Amazing how nice we can be when we want some thing!

Sam,
Autres Modifications ?
Je pense qu'il faut une inclinaison du plat pour forcer le roulement du rouleau vers 12h.

Sam,
Other Amendments ?
I think it takes a tilt of the plate to force the roll to roll around 12 o'clock.
