Batteries seem too easy. If the batteries it uses last that long, why not rig it for lithium? It could run for way longer than 2 years. Isn't the whole point of a PM machine to design it with as little maintenance as possible? I think it does have a motor of some kind, just not battery powered.

I would be disappointed if it’s not battery powered.

Something we search for so long becomes a normal thing.

If one were to take a closer glance at Fletcher's animation.

Image

they should notice the individual weights move about 180° whilst the main wheel only moves 135°. Just eyeballing it. The energy of the weights is getting slingshoted.

Further evidence of this force multiplication is
  • It, the roller, which weighs 7 pounds, it's going down hill like hell and smashes into the side of the casing with great force!!
I see no reason to impeach the ugly old codger's account.

Anyone calling Shammy a liar?

I can think of a way to augment this inverse cracking of the whip & several methods of capturing this power stroke on both ends yet anyone skilled in the trade of PM most likely sees it more throughly than I do.

Ideas Shammy?

I don’t get it.

The roller is smaller than the drum so if it rolled 180, the drum roll 135. Isn’t this normal?

Can we simplified this into a more simple mechanism so we can understand?

just to help refocus those following the design objectives:
  • How can this effect be:
    • Exasperated?
    • Harvested?

I'd like to restate this

  • they should notice the individual weights move about 180° whilst the main wheel only moves 135°. Just eyeballing it. The energy of the weights is getting slingshoted.
To this
  • as the main wheel has what ever angular velocity it has, the casing riding on the main wheel imparts that force on to the weight adding to its force vector hence multiplying the power with more force than just adding the vectors.

I'm working on it, Waltcy.
Seams like there are too many advantages to it, to just discarded it. The rollers are accelerated by the casings and at the same time by the acceleration of gravity. Instead of the weights simply falling, they are also given a push down hill by the casings. Do you see what I mean? The two accelerations add together. It's a big advantage that should be considered and, I had not anticipated it.

I know, It's just another Bull Shit theory-----------------Sam

I think THE SHAMMY RODLESS PENDULUM BOB is a kin to particle entanglement where when done with photons make them appear they're going twice the speed of light.

Maybe a visible manifestation of subatomic processes.

impossible, Einsteins?

this is freaky stuff, Shammy.

So how is this differ from MT1 or mt2?

I don’t think the rich one is the one asking how it works.

Well, that's just a picture.
