Should we post a running sim to everyone and get it over with?

You have ever reason to be skeptical, but it's self-evident to become a runner---------------------Sam

Let me explain the differ between Sam’s discovery and mt 1&2

When mt1&2 ball hit the casing, the hitting force lined up with the wheel center and therefore contributes no torque.

In Sam’s model, the ball hit a smaller circle within the casing. The hitting force is off center of the main wheel and therefore contributes a torque.

Try dragging the file onto the text area when creating your post.

You are right agor, the rollers do strike on or very close to a tangent, which couldn't be much better. I'm trying to find a better way to absorbed the impact of the roller with the casing, which might improve the torque. Also, maybe a spiral leading into the ramp, to hep lift it up and onto it---------------------------Sam

Maybe Bessler cover his with felt to improve torque.

I still have a hard time imagine how Bessler start his machine on any position.

Seems like our machine need a push to start.

Elastic collision, I think you're on to something. I'll run it by the boys in engineering.

Accounting just sent a memo. There is one leafy rascal that owes half his soul. Engineering said there's not much they can do with that dark energy.

Engineering agrees elastic collision is a way forward, yet legal says you'd be skirting dangerously close to an IP violation of invoking

THE FLETCHER!!!?

It's risky, you decide.
