Gawd I choked on my rum when I read that. I guess it gives me a new and irrefutable reason as to why I am like I am. It's not my fault - it's genetic!

Which leaves me wondering if it would be possible if there was anything in the Bessler Wheel resembling the DNA helix? Perhaps a mutation or severe deformity is the cause of the wheel's rotation? Something related to lack of proper balance where one keeps tripping over oneself - be it feet or mentally...

I think that was Lot. After his wife turned into a sodium pillar, the daughters decided getting the old man drunk was a great way to further the family lineage - kind of in a loop-da-loop fashion.

I've just about polished off this bottle, but I'm looking for an excuse to crack open the next one.

I think I'm genetically capable of cracking it open and thank goodness because I'd hate to have hang my handicapped placard around the neck of the bottle.

Actually I've come to terms with the matter,

The act of incest does not cause birth defects. It increases the probability of a child being born with a double dosage of one or more recessive genetic problems that can cause congenital birth defects. Autism could be the result of a slight gene mutation inherited from a change that happened a thousand years ago.

There is no reasoning with James. I'm neither proud nor otherwise about the matter.

I've resigned to the fact he'll say what he pleases, yet my views are very clinical. I'm emotionally detached from the matter.

Inbred carries a lot of weight where I'm from too.
It is a common word to abuse as far back as I can remember, outside of a clinic.
