Robert:

Not only do I think you are on to something but I also believe that the spring the observers said bessler pushed down and hit upwards with a loud noise was not a spring at all, there are other ways to achieve the same movement with the same results, that can also be a clue to the wheel internals.

We are very close, I think.

Wheeler...

If you have an idea for a website, then you should give it a try. It's really not that complicated. I would recommend you sign up for a free account over at tripod.com like I did when I built my own site (www.cosmicvault.com). They give you 1 GB per month of bandwidth with the free account, but you have to let them put ads on your pages. They even have special tools that let you set up pages quick without having to know any HTML. Of course, if you do know some HTML, then it's easy to hand code your own pages like I did.

I would assume that you would want to have a site devoted to gravity wheels or such. Great! Your efforts might help stimulate others out there to take an active interest in the subject and, after a while, you could present their ideas on your site.

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:

Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

Thanks Ken
I will keep that in mind.
I was just joking with Robert about him saying how he wondered why no one else had thought of it.
I would like to have a web site, but not at this time.

Why start another forum for gravity wheels, I thought that's what this is. I spend enough enough time filtering this one let alone another one.

If you want to start your own forum, ask Michael if you can use his. It is not getting any traffic and I am tired of seeing my name on the last post.

If you desired to make it selective or private I am sure Scott could assist in returning it to it original status.

When I joined this forum, I applied for membership in one of the existing private forums. That was in January and I am still waiting as membership is pending.

Ralph...

There are benefits to having one's own website. Aside from the status of having a "presence" of the web, one can decide exactly what the nature and format of the website will be (as long, of course, as one does not violate the Terms of Service of the host). There are no adminstrators looking over one's shoulder and one can decide exactly what material and by whom shall appear on the site. It's also a lot of fun to put a homepage counter on one site and then see how many people are visiting it.

Ken and Ralph,

The site is not for more forums, or to compete with besslerwheel.

It is for displaying the "final answer."
