Is it a bird...is it a plane?

Post by Gill Simo »

Not one for polls at all but I'd like to get a take on your take here at BW.com, in answer to an apparently simple question.
A one or the other answer is all I require, hence the poll...but of course, feel free to back-up your choice if you feel the need.

If two spheres are pushed into each other so that the circumference of both touches the centre point of each other, then what shape is formed by the overlapping of the two....is the resultant Vesica a Rugby ball or Hang Drum/Flying Saucer?
Thanks

Hi Gill

Neither of the options are exactly correct.

However I am thinking on the subject of four spheres intersecting their respective centres.

But that is another story.

Isn't that one of those new age instruments that you play while smoking pot? Smoke your problems away and intensify it with new age resonance.

I known what you mean. The product I used to do a quick render is limited.

In the image below you can just see the shape Gill is talking about as the intersection within the two front spheres.

To create the internal shape without the external sphere bodies would take more time than I am planning to supply.

Hi johannesbender

I was thinking you are the person for the job.
You are able to get the image rendered in blender faster than most.

Thanks

Huge apologies for yet again appearing to desert my post...I just rarely get the opportunity to physically endure sitting at this pc these days.
That said...many thanks for the replies...much appreciated ta.
