Mystified? My first thoughts on the matter:

I think it's click bait.

The principle I got from it is if one removes friction, the inertia will cause it to perpetually spin.

What you term 'mystified' was an attempt to draw out some discussion.

A moderate success, I'd say.

Offering up celestial momentum as proof of some gravity powered principle shows a fundamental lack of understanding on your part.

Fletcher, reading back through this dredged-up 10 year-old thread I came across this statement from Wubbly on page 5. The universe works in mysterious ways :D

The only way I could conceive of a gravity-only wheel working is if the "system" included the wheel and the earth. On each rotation, the wheel would steal a little energy from the earth's rotation, and feed that energy back into the wheel. The law of conservation of energy would not be violated.

I had this incredibly novel idea about energy and strain, shared it with Frank, and he stole it from me!!

I did a little studying and what I found to be useful is to replace the terms action/reaction with the term force.

Newton's 3rd law certainly applies when some mass is moved in an attempt to imbalance a wheel. Anyone who has modeled has come up against that wall of counter-force or counter-torque.

Yet when you're analyzing vectors in a rotating frame, things get a bit weird. Wavy gravy.

These forces need to be managed. I intend to describe how in the book, if I go that route.

When I first began to look at this problem I was very excited. Now, not so much. I could care less, especially if I'm going to have to work my pa·too·tie off to get recognized and paid.

Of course, my ideas might not even produce anything. I'm not even motivated to build.

Force is merely an alias for a strain below the threshold of perception, i.e hidden.

when I noticed the above, then went to the users, none of these agorhim [ x y z ] creatures showed up.

And then the off topic thread that's going viral looks like an effort at a traffic scam.

Everyone knows msft, google and others have bots crawling all over the place.

That's as common of knowledge as America's FBI is a rouge law enforcement agency. Of course that criminal enterprise refuses to admit they have their hand in the cookie jar.

How they start is irrelevant to the fact they are unique usernames that don't show up in the member database.
