There is nothing fine in Ken's advert. False advertising is fraud. For what ever reason perpetual motion is chocked full of hucksters.

If/when the real deal happens, it is going to extremely hard for the one who discovers PM to be compensated.

Then when the book arrives he has a fine print disclaimer. Sorry there, no Lewinsky. It's false advertising. The FTC says

Ever the skeptic, I say it's all just mere talk until a real build is working. Personally I view talkers and simmers in the same boat as KB. Once the wheel is proven and working, then you can all push KB out of the boat, make me walk the plank for being skeptical, and bask in whatever level of glory you want.

It just doesn't hold much water nor does it change my mind that there will not be a runner in my lifetime.

So after that trip to the corner store by way of Shanghai, do you still think dreamers SIM'ing & theorizing about PM are in the same boat as KB?

If so, is the name of the boat, NOBODY KNOWS?

I don't trust simulations...I mean look at KB's wheel...creeps along like a turtle and just barely makes it via a slight margin of error.

SIMs are great learning tools for mockups and so forth, but until there is a bonafide working wheel for proof, I absolutely without question will never believe any sim to be an actual runner. So far my skepticism as been more right than any claims of a runner.

And to be more direct...no - I don't consider those who run simulations and theorize about stuff to be another batch of KB wannabes. You have to have some thought and discussion about this...just don't go around tooting your horn that you have successfully built a wheel when at that point you're just a legend in your own mind. I know you think you have a runner, but so far you aren't publishing books and claiming success with nothing to show for it. There is a difference.

I'm still skeptical and firmly believe that no runner will be made while I'm alive. So far I've been correct 100% of the time and feeling right means more to me than dashed hopes that come from repeated failures.

I can understand your preference to be made a fool of, for being wrong rather than being killed, but what if the decision has already been made that you are right?

If I'm right, then nobody has anything to worry about. The wheel is fake, people wasting their lives, it was a fun run, and then this forum can disappear.

Until there is proven a working wheel, I'm right. Now I can have my cake, eat it too, and I sit on the sidelines watching everyone else slave away at something I've deemed futile. It's kind of a movie that never ends and I have a front row seat.

There is something to be said for holding that perpetual motion is impossible and at the same time hoping it was possible.

Then you are at least right when it continues not to be found and happy when it has been found.

It could have been found in the past many times but the time was not right for it to become main stream.

But I am realistic pessimist

That's about it, but I'll change one little thing. I KNOW it's impossible, but hoping it's possible. One belief is based on time-tested knowledge, and the other is conjecture. Realistic pessimist is about it.

I still can't help but think of the occasional idea..born out of habit more than anything else, but for now I'm not wasting my time trying to build proof of what I already know.

If someone proves me wrong, I think Ill be pissed and so deeply disappointed that the broken heart and shock will lead to a massive stroke and then lights out. There will be a very small window of opportunity to make fun of me and have me know about it.
