I appreciate your concern. I have not got admin rights so I am unable to find the information.

If Scott brings back the 'Archive Gallery' that was delete then this 'Beggars Version'
would not be needed. It would be bad form to delete both.

Note.

I can imaging the process of changing PHP files to implement the 'Archive Gallery'
was an involved task. So when the PHP software was upgraded it cleared out those
changes. A reimplementation is a risky task and one that would required to be done on every upgrade.

P.S. Anyone that wants this topic delete? Create a poll topic and see if you have a majority.
If there is a majority then Scott can put that is his list of things to do.
