Myself and the wife both got covid after christmas, didnt really affect me,just like a bad cold but the wife hit her hard, bedridden for 6 weeks, only slowly getting mobility back, anyway being at home looking after her i looked out some research papers i did 30 years ago...To understand, the jist of it..cars,motorbikes,petrol engines run better in damp weather..so i experimented adding water to the venturi intake of the carburreter ...only when i heated the water (copper pipe coiled round exhaust manifold outlet)and pressurised the mixing chamber driven by an old shorrocks supercharger did i get results...but the results were erratic and the flow was very difficult to control....nowadays i believe it is attainable with fuel injectors and computer control of the mixture in the mixing chamber ...fuel economy is at a premium today ..this may be of interest to some here...Good Luck..

Steam On

Post by agor95 »

Hello rasselasss

It would be interesting to add super heated steam into the fuel intake.

I also heard the report that combustion engines ran more smoothly going through ground fog.

I just put that down to the early cars did not yet used lead inhibitor.
So the damp fog helped prevent ignition to early.

Then one has to take into account where the engines diesel or petrol.

Super steam..how to achieve..just to explain...my idea was just like an LPG/petrol car ..self sustained..once heated the water and petrol mix in pressurised vessel..switch over to petrol/water mixture...i said good results i'll explain ..running at tickover at 800 RPM ...1/2 pint petrol till run out...then petrol/water mix..same 1/2 pint total mix ...3 minutes longer to run out with 1/4 pint of petrol only...Atomising the petrol to mix with the atomised hot water was the problem...you get a froth rising in the pressurised vessel...this is the right mix..but anything over tickover 800 RPM..it was difficult for the"froth"supply to keep up...i drove the compressor of the engine (extended fan belt)...heated the water copper pipe coiled round exhaust manifold(four wraps)....supply and metering was the problem...i honestly believe that technology thats here now can solve the problems...hope this is a clearer explanation to this ....Good Luck

I have to say,Stanley Meyers claim ,i find plausible, somewhat like "ole Bessler",he did'nt want to give it away and i would say sent critics, scientists alike down other paths, leading to wrong conclusions. So other paths should be explored,ie .did he use heavy water, light heavy water,as stated i don't know but this i do know when i was experimenting mixing water with petrol the consensus of scientists said it could'nt be done, now a lookup on the net scientists state it can ,if the water is heated to a certain temperature...now the question arises what would Mayer benefit if it did'nt achieve as stated just like "ole Bessler"....took it to his grave....rather than divulge how it was achieved.....hmmm

Hello rasselasss

That a good read. It would be interesting if they try high voltage & high alternating frequency electrolytes. Then the resistance in charging should reduce.

Question to ask those interested something to think on,....How many spokes were in ole Besslers wheel,..if i remember correctly ,both sides of his wheel were covered with canvas,..so 1 spoke, 2 spokes, 3 spokes,4 spokes, 5 spokes, 6 spokes,..or more ....by my reckoning it is 1 spoke to the hub ,which would simplify the whole mechanism for a gravity/C/F solution......I wish you all a Merry Christmas Xmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.....

That is an interesting question.

However another question is; how many spokes do you need to cause the reset?

This a little different as it's from the now and not the passed.

Happy X-mass
