EDIT: It happened again to me just now...got an http error 500 and my post was not shown to me, however when I used the back arrow, there my post was. Even though the forum is making it look like there was an error, it is still being posted. Is anyone else having this issue?
I don't get any error notification, just the white screen, i would have thought the back arrow is doing the same as my shortcut link (favourite), it just goes directly to the page, which has functioned correctly.
So no need to repost, because it has been posted correctly, it is just that we are not redirected to the appropriate page automatically.
If it's all falling apart at the seams, we had best hurry up and find the solution, before we need to jump ship.
I wont bother posting and then editing the post, to say i got the white screen, I'll go for i will be getting the white screen, like every other time i post still, and edit it if i don't.
I've never had this 'white screen' thing when posting, but I use Palemoon which is an unusual browser, so I wonder if it's browser related.
Also I'm a member of a private ebook forum that uses the exact same forum software as Besslerwheel.com, and I've never seen anyone on there complaining about white screen problems when posting.

Well there could be differences in the version of the exact same forum software. Also the software is hosted on a server which may use a different operating system with different version of PHP etc.
McDonald's looks the same but that does not mean they have the same service.

That is exactly the same as what i got with Microsoft Edge.
I have returned to Firefox, because I'm comfortable (sort of) with it, and just use my favourite link as before.
It looks like the problem might be an update on the platform that the forum uses, and the forum operator hasn't followed up the forum end. I hope that makes sense.
A computer programmer rummaged around my pc with AnyDesk, and he explained it much better, but that is the gist of it, if I'm not mistaken.

When you have a low maintenance system. Or one you do not want to upgrade. Then a person can create an 'appliance'.
That mean you run a virtual computer with a frozen version of the Operating system and applications contained within the application.
I am doing that with some old software. However there are security reasons for upgrades but if there is an exploit it is contained within the 'appliance'.
Then you clean up the container or replace it with a snap shot before the exploit was used.
In effect we could have the old functionality that has been lost. As to database size that is another matter.
P.S. I trust you have removed 'AnyDesk' from you PC.
