The Long View
Hello TTIF
This is a kind of 'Off-Topic' twice [two times].
France is going through a Snap National Election. This was called about an hour after the European Election Results were declared.
France had a Referendum on leaving the European Union in 1992.
Also France had another public opinion gathering initiated around 1789.
At that time England had a constitutional monarchy and it appears the French people wanted that instead of the absolute monarchy.
England's nationalistic party UKIP which was normally marginal gained more seats in the European Parliament.
Mainly because both main national parties promised a Referendum but never honoured that promise.
However the pressure was on and we were given a Referendum in 2016 to say in or out of the European Union.
Both France and England voted to leave. However France held on to the next national election and used that to reveres the result.
I am watching how France progresses as both countries are on similar paths with only a slight difference due to honouring a Democratic Vote in 2016
compared to the one in 1992.
England is having a Snap National Election 4 July. How synchronous we find events are playing out.
Note. Any corrections of fact would be appreciated.
P.S. England will always be there for France in their time of need.
Regards

A Loaf
A man bakes a loaf of bread
He is so smug and confident he does no studying on how too bake a loaf, but blags [makes is up as he goes].
His assistants are tasked to do the research on the ingredients, quantities and baking tray required.
So they give him the dough and the baking tray.
He placed the dough into the tray and puts the result into the preheated oven and waits for it to smell kind of right.
Some time later smiling the loaf is a placed on a plate while bragging how it is the best loaf ever made in the world; no the universe.
Not only does he keep on bagging on how great it is but follows the camera crew into the 'Fact Checking Analyst' area; He will not shout up.
Anyway the camera crew goes and he follows them; thank god.
Time to analyses the loaf. It is true this loaf is like no other.
It's burned on the out side like some angry torch welder had forced his contempt on the poor loaf.
And yet the loaf was half baked inside. Squishy without any substance or structure.
P.S. The man was last heard commenting on the loaf was the best ever and there is no need too bake another.

A Loaf
It appears the man has realised he needs to throw some rotten eggs for 40 minutes over the camera crew & reporters to try create a distraction via the stink!
Should we get another person in too bake a new loaf?
Another younger person who does not spend time on 'and another thing'.
P.S. Sounds like sour dough to me.
P.S.S. And he is still bagging on - He will not shut up.
I think the camera crew need to leave.
