The Wheel is solved in a New Norwegian Patent

Post by Frog »

Three equally distributed pendulums with equal weights do not create equilibrium positions on a flywheel.
If there are more or fewer pendulums, there will be an equal number of equilibrium points, which makes a large circular pendulum movement impossible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These are not masses in periodic motion on two sides of a wheel.
- It's not a whole pendulum movement.
- It’s not a wheel that has equilibrium points.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are three holders for double pendulums, but they do not change the flywheels equilibrium, so the wheel can stand in any position - the wheel is balanced in any position.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If a holder with double pendulum is locked into the flywheel, -ONE -equilibrium position occurs.
If the wheel is turned out of this equilibrium position, the wheel will return to this - ONE - equilibrium position with an oscillating movement.
Or a pendulum movement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you lock the holder with double pendulum when it is on top of the flywheel and then turn it in one direction, it will rotate back to its equilibrium position.
~~~~~~~~~~
This is the process:
-1:
A holder with double pendulum locks when it is on top of the flywheel.
Kinetic energy is used to turn the flywheel from its equilibrium position at the top.
-2:
With locked holder the double pendulum…
-“ Weights acted in pairs”
-“Weights gained force from their own swinging.”
-“Weights came to be placed together, arranged one against another ”
- they oscillates 180 degrees and
-“ Weights applied force at right angles to the axis.”
-3:
which changes the equilibrium position - so that it is now at the bottom of the flywheel.
-4:
The flywheel (not the double pendulum) start a pendulum movement towards the bottom.
-5:
When the flywheel has rotated until the double pendulum reaches the bottom, the holder with double pendulum is detached from the flywheel and hangs loosely on the upturn on the passive side.
-6:
The Flywheel pendulum movement ends when the holder with the double pendulum is not locked into the flywheel.
The kinetic energy goes into the flywheel.
~~~~~~~~
- The potential has changed -
- The potential is the source of New Kinetic Energy -
- This is something completely new in physics -

Hi Frog .. welcome ..

Here is your attachment picture again for others to see in the correct orientation ..

It seems there are 10 sets of double pendulums but they do not appear to be evenly spaced ( intentionally ? ) - the pic shows there are 2 more sets in the bottom half than the top half .. I'll have to read your description again to see if I missed why that would be so ..

This doesn't look like anything new, or anything that has any possibility to work to me.

Welcome Frog. Didn't realise this was your first post. Good luck with your search.

It’s only three double pendulums - they are equally distributed in a triangle

It’s new - it just looks like something you have seen before. It only pendulums on half of the wheel, the other side is passive.

It’s only three double pendulum- the wheel is always in equilibrium in any position if the pendulum is free

Here is your pic again with 3 different positions ( 1, 2, 3 ) highlighted for the 3 equally spaced pendulum sets ( pivots points 120 degrees apart ) that interact with the flywheel background disk, as I read it - i.e. rotated counter-clockwise ( CCW ) from 12 o'cl to 9 o'cl ..

Perhaps it makes your intentions clearer ..

]HI Frog. I uderstood the intention of it being 3. It actually doesn't matter if it is one, two, three, or 360 pendulums. The problem is with how much energy it takes to move the wheel up to flip the weights compared to how much positive torque each one will apply to the wheel.

As each weight moves through the left hand side, each weight will experience the same positive and negative torque, regardless of direction.

It is nice to see something a little fresher here. Reminds me of earlier times on this forum.

Hi Frog, are there anymore details about the operation of it and about the inventor?

It looks like its based on the design on page 170 of JC's book.

That design has three double pendulums all placed roughly in a triangle.

It reads -
The handwriting says, “Demonstration: Pounds (weights) in
Equilibrium”

Yes it’s great illustration! My drawing is very rough to show how it works.
It’s obvious that the red triangle got more torque towards its equilibrium position in the bottom of the flywheel compared to the yellow triangle with torque towards the equilibrium position at the top of the flywheel.
Thanks man !

Using Frogs numbering positions of 1 @ 12.00 o'cl, 2 @ 9.00 o'cl, and 3 @ 6.00 o'cl for a 3 double pendulum system ..

I think his intention is that at 12 the geared together pends ( MT556v ish ) lock pointing to the axle and rotate with the disk in that orientation to 9 - at 9 when they are near to horizontal, they unlock briefly and are flipped over ( one goes up and over, the other goes down an over i.e. no change in GPE therefore only work against frictions ) so they are now outfacing creating an imbalance/torque and are locked again thru to 6 - at 6 they are unlocked and hang beneath the pivot and rotate back up to 12 to repeat ..

ETA .. you are welcome ..

Frog .. here is the MT556v we speculate some of your design elements coincidentally resemble .. [ from John Collins MT ] ..
