Another gravity wheel?

Yes Gene, I agree wholeheatedly with that precaution.
I was just wondering if a response from them could have been had, without having to approach them with what is in effect, a "fake i.d." of "potential investor".
Perhaps someone should try?

Robert...
I think Jim's description of himself as a "potential investor" is not really that deceptive. I mean, I'm sure that if he was really impressed by what information that they provided him with, then he might actually want to invest in their device. But, obviously, this is not going to be the case. When one starts getting back poorly written emails filled with "techno babble", then it's time to look elsewhere for promising new technologies to invest in.

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

Ken, yes hello,jim_mich wrote:Ken,
I did not say that I was thinking of investing! The "potential investor" is a carrot on a stick to pry some technical information out of them.
However, upon questioning from you, the above response was elicited, which, if words have meaning, it seems his intent was not to invest or to even think about investing, but to trick something out of them?
Just respectfully asking a question.

Well, I can not really speak for Jim. Despite what his initial intentions may or may not have been, I'm sure that his purpose was only to obtain more information, whether good or bad, about the company so that others here could decide whether or not they wanted to get involved with them and risk their investment money with them. I'm sure that if someone emails them and starts out by saying that they consider them to be a scam that they would not invest a dime in their project, then the chances of them getting a response would probably be next to zero.

I sent an email to Gravity One and here it is with their reply on top.
Pascal could have said more, but then again, he could have just blown it off....
Maybe someone could ask for technical information with the "other" block checked. Well, I don't know.
Dear Robert,
Thank you for your encouragements.
We have the chance to work on a fascinating subject which can a lot bring to the humanity.
Receive a friendly thought of Cannes.

Robert...
Well, it's nice that they gave you a "friendly thought", but that doesn't tell us anything about how their device is supposed to work. Yes, someone is going to have to check the box requesting "technical" information...

Guys,
I stumbled onto a website today that says it is the first built gravity wheel. If you click on the illustration, it has a HUGE wheel that the man has built.
The website states:
Here is the link. also check out the illustration pictures:

Does anyone know anything about this?

It says it operates on CONSERVATION OF ENERGY Through the theory of reversibility. It is a case of perpetual motion requiring no external energy, it operates in closed circuit, it is the first gravitational engine.

edit:
Three things stood out as I looked over that site:
- A half rotation by hand is required to load the wheel.
- So that the wheel can produce, not just for itself, but also for requirements, it is necessary to double the number of mechanisms and the circumference of the wheel...
- The pictures of the inventor don't show him smiling.

Hi Preston.
This is the thing Eric Krieg went to France to test. It didn't work, in fact he spent most of the day with some other testers trying to tweek the wheel as per the inventors orders. I posted the information about it here quite a qhile ago and with some searching you should be able to find it. There are pictures of Eric as well as they come from him.

This is Aldo Costa's (in)famous wheel. Search the old discussion board for Aldo Costa. (especially here.)
It is an impressive construction indeed, but does not work as advertised.

re: Another gravity wheel?
Im at school so I have so free time. I looked at the design and he fell into the same trap as all, up till now. A weight cant be lifted to its original place once started in motion because of gravity. I still agree with this although I found a way around it, thanks to besslers drawings. I contacted the owner of wm2d without telling him specifics of my design he assured me it is real to life......even the army is using it to test clearances for their rockets. IMO both sides are right about PM.
