Well, it probably won't get to the point where we are all running naked through the streets of our crumbling cities robbing, raping, and killing each other. We're just too "civilized" for that (I hope!). But, I expect to see a lot of "downsizing" of our culture over the next few decades. I think Americans will pressure their politicians to make sure that every tax dollar is spent as efficiently as possible and, most likely, our "role" as the world's peacekeeper will be curtailed as we put more pressure on other emerging powers to play an increased part in those acitivities as well as fund them. Energy costs will be minimized by a combination of conservation, technology, and innovation. Eventually, our currency will have little value and people will switch back to using gold...

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
