Hi all,
Nice community you got here.
I'll start out by confessing that I'm a bit more interested in EM devices than pure mechanical, with an end goal (either way) of getting off the grid while still supporting my 25KWh/day energy habit. Anybody here working on electric stuff?
I'm also wondering if anyone has read the Bearden or Newman book. Is either one worth it?
Has anybody tried a Bedini or LaFonte motor?

I was thinking the little roller skate motor looks simple and has reportedly been successfully replicated many times. It would be nice to have a first project that would at least prove to me that ZPE is attainable, no matter the scale. Both also look like they fit with my elctrical and mechanical skills well and the explanations on how they work make sense to me.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi Edweird,
welcome to the forum.
I'm in the middle of building the Bedini motor, cant seem to find the time to finish it though. The Minato motor is looking very promising too, have you read up on it, there was a recent post about it here somewhere.

re: Some newbie Qs
I tried the rollerskate motor, and couldn't get it to work. That doesn't mean it doesn't, as I have a bad track record for getting even conventional and simple electronic projects to work.

re: Some newbie Qs
ok from naudins page and the very lasty page on the interent is the only place i have senen successful results posted from utilizing the back emf from the newmans design, so i suggest you follow THERI designs
links
newman tested and working from naudin
http://jnaudin.free.fr/html/qmmv11.htm
no berdini there are similar designs, even though he suggest to follow the EXACT SAME DESIGN
http://www.theverylastpageoftheinternet ... orGene.htm
from the page you mention i suggest there
also if you construct any of these before me, i am show casing free energy or over unity on a major tv channel here in austalia when all the devices are ready so pm or contact me, as every one else knows that when they get a working whelel, i can help you all for free to deliver it to the world

Thanks, I think since reading a bit more, the concepts are finally starting to sink in.
I've got the rotor and the base built, now I just need to build myself a good coil winder to get that part going. After an evening of googling, I found one that I like the looks of: http://www.geocities.com/thetonegod/coil/coil.html The mechanical part looks fairly easy and large enough to handle decent size coils, too bad he doesn't post more details about his controller circuit though. Anybody got a favorite design?

Small DC hobby electric motor resting through a doughnut shaper ferrite magnet>>> 54mm X 24mm(hole) X 8mm registering 24 millivolts only when turned (rotated) to a certain position.
Note: (Positive) the outer ring of the magnet.
(Negative) the connector of motor (Whichever one)
Just something I ran into while toying with the multimeter (re)

more help with windings i suggest you look at doing the pod. from the design on that page
plus a productive winding is off this page too

scroll down to where it shows Bill's Leon Dragone Metglas Core Cold Current Unit with a cop of 4.03!!!!!

That page certainly gives me plenty to chew on. I see that I'll be needing lots more study on magnetics plus some time for it all to soak in.epistemologicide wrote: plus a productive winding is off this page too
