Perhaps both Ralph.......for in one fell swoop you have doubly demonstrated the obvious fact that 'boobs' and 'mouths' have had a working relationship for quite some time!
(LOL)

As most of humanity suffers under tyrants, misled by the devil and his cohorts who've recently been thrown down here, nothing short of Yahshua, King of Kings, will remove these oppressors and bring everlasting peace.

Ralph - don't ask me! LOL
FWIW, I think Mitch might actually have a wit - if only he could step off that box he's on.

To be fair.....it is, perhaps appropriately, only half a box....heck, it's not even my box. It's on loan to me from a dear Friend.
Seriously though.....as for being on a box, don't knock it till you've tried it.
The view is impeccable. Besides, it's much easier to make out the marks on so many people's foreheads from an elevated position!

Such rarified heights result in cerebral hypoxia - hallucinations are to be expected ;)
re: Osama's Message to America!
That is a grand box you place me on that would reach such an altitude....even after my admission that it is really only half a box.
The other half floated away some time ago in New Orleans.
Talk about hallucinations. Can't seem to rub that one out of my eyes.
As for that 'rarified air' of which you speak.....I think you'll be around to taste of it without need of climbing on my tattered and worn half a box.
However, you may need to climb out of yours first. Though you may first require permission to do so.....
I wouldn't know.
Again, God bless you, Bill....and may that blessing be named from your own lips.

Perhaps if you removed some the 'rarified air' from between the lines in your posts you wouldn't be subject to these hallucinations.

re: Osama's Message to America!
Well, there are some continuing developments in the Iranian "peaceful" nuclear power program that were announced during the last 24 hours.
Apparently, the Iranian government now admits that it has been able to enrich uranium beyond the level needed to serve as fuel in a power reactor. However, they claim that they still have not been able to get it past the 80% U235 concentration needed for bomb grade material.
This kind of announcement will do nothing to calm the concerns of the West because it implies that they are, in fact, making an effort to go beyond the concentration of U235 needed for power generation. Israel has just warned them to stop their enrichment process or they (the Israelis) will have to take "defensive" actions...
Meanwhile, the US Ambassador to the UN is getting ready to present the case against Iran to their Security Council. This time, however, our credibility has been greatly compromised by the previous performance of Colin Powell as he tried to get the UN to sanction military action against Iraq. I respect Colin Powell and believe that he actually presented "intelligence" that he thought was valid at the time. Too bad it proved to be almost completely erroneous.
Despite our tarnished credibility, I think there is certainly enough evidence that has been provided by Iran to establish that they do, at least, have the potential to become a nuclear armed state that could pose a threat to the surrounding pro-West countries in their region of the globe. Will the Security Council members vote for sanctions or even military action?
I suspect that all that will happen is that some wrist slapping sanctions will be authorized and that, of course, will be completely unsatisfactory to the Bush administration. As in the case of Iraq, we will probably begin rounding up another coalition of the "willing" to enhance the sanctions and, perhaps, assist with any land invasion following an air campaign. That will, of course, be a lot more difficult than just the air campaign itself, but might be necessary depending upon how the Iranians react to having nuclear weapons dropped on their country.
As the tensions in the Middle East continue to mount, the price of petroleum on the global commodity markets continues to crept upward and now even the experts say that those prices will probably stay elevated for years to come!
There are stories beginning to come in of various school districts in the US cutting back on the number of days that schools are open during the school week. This is being done to cut back on the expenditures for diesel fuel that school buses use. For those communities that will maintain a full five day a week school schedule, property taxes and rents will have to be increased.
The plan to send every American taxpayer a check for $100 USD to offset the increased cost of gasoline seems to going nowhere. Apparently, it was just a mid-term election year gimmick by the Republicans to take people's minds off of the fuel cost mess and deflect their anger away from the Republicans in power who are being blamed for it. At the present time, the Democrats need a net gain of 15 seats in the House of Representatives and 5 seats in the Senate to take control of both houses of Congress. A few months ago, such a possibility would have been considered quite impossible. But, now, as we face a long, hot summer of possibly even higher fuel costs, that possibility is starting to look more like a probability!
Meanwhile, down in South America, the president of Bolivia just nationalized their countries oil refineries and sent troops in to secure them. Apparently, the citizens of Bolivia finally got tired of living on $2 USD per day while the international oil cartels are raking in tens of billions per quarter in excess profits. I'm wondering how bad the situation might have to get in the USA before a similar measure was approved here by the electorate!
So far, Osama's plan to bankrupt the West continues without delay...

On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ
Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

Very interesting post. Since the facts have escaped you again I won't reply. If I knew the Demo's had a better plan I would be happy for you.

1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
4. Over 2/3's of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.
10. In L.A.County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish (10.2 million people in L.A.County).
(All 10 from the Los Angeles Times)
Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops but 29% are on welfare.

Over 70% of the United States annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration.
The cost of immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was a NET (after subtracting taxes immigrants pay) $70 BILLION a year, [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University].
The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is a NEGATIVE
29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

Hope one of those non-existant nukes don't go off in Ireland, but I am not the kind to tell you "I told you so".

The other day, I watched an interesting interview that was done with the CEO of Conocco (the 3rd largest refinery in the USA). According to him, the rising cost of gasoline has nothing to do with the oil companies. It's strictly a matter of supply and demand on the international markets. While the amount of oil being pumped out of the ground has increased somewhat over the last few years, unfortunately, the demand from it by countries such as India and China has begun to create a situation where it goes to whatever buyer is willing to pay the highest price for it. That, coupled with the failure of the West to implement conservation and a change over to more "bio fuels" is worsening the situation. Also, the fact that a new refinery has not been built in the USA in the last 20 years does not help.
I found his explanation plausible, but then I remembered the tens of billions in profits being made per quarter recently by the international oil companies. As capitalists, however, the oil companies feel that they are entitled to this since they have to risk their capital to find and extract new sources of oil.
Well, it's a complicated problem with no easy and quick solutions to it. Maybe to only hope is to try to keep the prices worldwide as low as possible while we begin to rev up the bio fuel industry and switch to the use of hybrid vehicles. This will then act as a transitional phase until the entire planet can convert to a stricly solar powered hydrogen based power system for our cars.
Meanwhile, although I still stop off at my local gas station for $5 USD worth of gasoline, I seem to be making those visits with almost twice the frequency I did last year!

Please do not get the idea that I am promoting the Democrats at the expense of the Republicans in my posts here. Actually, I find the Democrats' "plans" to cope with the rising fuel prices just as useless as those of the Republicans.Very interesting post. Since the facts have escaped you again I won't reply. I too hear the same old tripe from the oil companies, but the one that gets me most in their claim of reinvesting in new oil exploration.
Where are their jobs for new oil exploration teams posted?
How many employees have they added to their research jobs for new energy sources? NONE
