On 7/6/06, I found, in any overbalanced gravity wheel with rotation rate, ω, axle to CG distance d, and CG dip angle φ, the average vertical velocity of its drive weights is downward and given by:

Vaver = -2(√2)πdωcosφ

This reminds me of the wallpaper you can get, the thing is, I am one of those who likes to find the start and end to the pattern, after all there is only one pattern in there.

I think what the author of this website did was take a 6 KB animated gif and use it as background. Because of that, the pattern is put into a tiling program and, for some reason does not run properly. I think that the little balls are supposed to move around the various paths in the design. There is also a manic music file downloaded with the program that might be hindering its running.

Maybe if someone has a high speed internet connection, then they can actually see the animation in motion.

Below is attached what I saw on my monitor. I use a 56 kbps modem.

I have DSL, and yes this thing is animated with sound and it will drive you crazy if you watch it long enough.

Trevie, I cannot find a start and and end. Even after scrolling up and down it never seems to start or end vertically and there is no horizontal scroll.

For those of you who can animate it, be careful it is addictive. I really get a charge out of watching all the various functions and attempting to follow the path of an individual ball. There are definitely some odd mechanisms in this thing which will put the mind to work with wheel weight transference in mind.

Wow! nice animation! It dowloaded ok for me with 56K, took about 3.5 minutes to start running-it was downloading even as the window said 'done' at the bottom-I get NO sound, though-I'm using firefox here.
I hope to see something work soon-by someone!!

What I mean is the start and end to the pattern, not the edges of the screen. If you look more closely you will see what I mean.
