Stirling engine

I have been looking for a good design for a stirling engine in the 1/2 to 2 HP range. It seems like the smaller and larger ones abound but not in this range. I need to fill in with some electrical generation while I perfect my gravity wheel.

An alternative would be a source of thermo electric solid state generating capacity. I know there are some out there, but information is really scarce.

Peltier devices are pretty good and prices are coming down. You can scavenge them from old portable refrigerator / coolers or CPU coolers. Some are reasonable on Ebay.

This is the best stirling I have found so far. Fairly efficient and just one moving part. It works on harmonics (shades of Tesla)

I contacted the inventor. He says that he needs to develope an efficient linear generator in order to have a marketable product.

Do any of you know of such a generator.

It must run at somewhat elevated temperatures and at 1000 HZ plus.

That would be equivalent to 60, 000 rpm in an rotating generator.

It seems that resonant frequencies are faster than we usually deal with in mechanical assemblies.
