I hadn't seen this topic broached before on these pages. Maybe it's just because I haven't looked around enough. In the States this is fast becoming 'issue number one', even over and above the Middle East police action now hurtling toward un-imaginable disaster.

It would seem as though one eastern city, at least, Hazleton PA, has positively thrown down the gauntlet, and there the nonsense is to STOP, apparently. Of course the ACLU most certainly will have it's say, but maybe not it's way.

This situation is going to go way-ugly before it gets pretty again. There is nothing quite like reality finally dawning, to spur the functional but otherwise walking dead into self protective action, but, is it too late?

Well, that pretty much depends upon how New York and "The City" dictate, doesn't it?
