METOZ

Post by Madmax »

I found this today:
http://www.nets.pl/~metozor/metoz.html

It's a hydraulic machine by Polish inventor Zygmunt Orlowski.

There is an error in logic. I did some quick calculations. The distance which one cylinder drops is not the same distance which the other cylinder rises. So during deflection fluid moves out of the area above the pistons and into the atmosphere area. During straightening fluid moves out of the high pressure tank and into the area above the pistons. It will work until the high pressure is used up.

In other words it's a hydraulic motor running off of the high pressure.

Jim...

the inventor claims in the explanation that both pistons surfaces are equal. Also the mouvement distances are the same. System is hermetic - only one of two valves are opened at once and the water is not compressible. There are no pressure losses (inventor claims).

I think there is a larger site about this in English:
