...medium of exchange, circulating medium,or "cash" for energy, this capacity for doing work and for overcoming inertia,is acceleration. We can take it from the gravity flow, fall, river as "g*t"(free of charge),then insert in the "black box(gravity engine)" and use at the output of this one ,in a switch manner for any kind of action(Lex Two/Newton/Action=mass*acceleration).So ,the natural stock market for the mechanical energy, has at the input "g"/gravitational acceleration, and at the output "a"/working acceleration. In the natural world of energy this kind of "money" talk:the acceleration. So,if we know the first and the third , last step, regarding energy, what can be the second step?Really ,we are living inside a huge natural mass accelerator, that's gravity. Is working ,a posible gravity engine,as an accelerator converter,in some way?Can it be a surprise? Each one sees what he carries in his mind and in his heart. All the Bests!/Alex

Why am I seeing patterns here !?

What are you trying to achieve iacob!? .. I think you do not provide anything new with your repeating topics..

Not much more my forum than yours, and I provided space for you to explain why you don't format your posts so everyone can enjoy them and why you are creating new topics that don't mean much ...

And this time I didn't try to offend you or anyone..

So, I consider that your reply is not fair..

If you think you are worth the effort of reading what you think is gravity or a gravity engine for that matter, why don't you put some effort in making your posts easier to read!? ..

I think you are worth it, else, I wouldn't bother arguing against your posting format!

Alex...I and most here already understand the basics of what you are implying. We understand that gravity has potential...all the time. It's already cocked and loaded in many places around the world. Example: Avalanche!

Now, show us how to direct it...I repeat from another thread that you made comments in....this is a closed loop...what comes around must go around, so to speak. I think most of us already understand the "time" factor you mention...show us the "upside" so to speak, again.

I have been to your link and seen some of your drawings...very talented individual. But, I see a lot of the thinking that has already been contemplated here many times. Now, if the point you are making is that gravity is an unrelenting, constant, downward force that is present all the time....both statically and dynamically...we already know that. Tell us how we can change it's direction to move objects in another direction besides down.

Hi!A Happy New Year 2003!When I said "farewell to 'your' forum',it was intended to a certain person, regarding the normal animating rules of a virtual meeting. So I believe. The brainstorming is good, but in a humorous, team style,if not it can develop in some uncontrollable ways.I know this spirit,I was 40 years in the air-force....By the way "farewell",in Latin is "vale",a kind of "go...until we meet again"..in a better mind-set.Over. Now,Steve about your "time" factor ,I think that if we develop that classic "falling stick" lab demo ,we can understand something about your interesting expression, time factor. So,this demo makes a notice, seeing only:the stick,in a rotational fall is more rapid as a ball in a vertical line fall(at the same height). The input acceleration is the same for the both:g.The final velocities are different:v1>v2.But ,usually,in gravity, for a vertical line fall,we have v=g*t.What happens, can be the first question. The second,my proposal is to measure falling time for the stick and the ball ,one by one and then all at once(the ball fixed, rooted on the stick). After this we have t1,t2,t3 and discussion,so a possible path to presume ,think about your time factor.Going away...Alex

Hi!Sorry,Hyde Park here or Zoo?(for some people,only...).It's so fun! Now,like in army, let's go to work ,the time-out is overt:we need a test and an answer to that simple question regarding the drop-time for a stick(t1) and a ball(t2),one by one and then, all at once(t3)/the ball fixed, rooted on the stick/.All that we know(remind or see again ,the lab demo of "falling stick"),is the inequality t1>t2.There are three possibilities only:t1>t2>t3,or t1>t3>t2 or t3>t1>t2.I bet on the last "horse".All the Bests!/Alex

I saw the experiment a few days ago and verified it in W2MD. It is pretty cool, but I do not know how to use it. The first thing that came to my mind is using the accelerated end of the stick to hit something, but then I thought about a center of gravity problem. If I whack a nail with a hammer, used as intended, the nail gets buried in 3-4 blows. If I reverse the hammer and hold the heavy end in my hand and hit the nail with the hammer's handle, I can swing it down much faster but I'll be a tired and hungry man before that nail goes anywhere. I cannot imagine that this experiment can be useful unless the accelerated end of the stick can do something such as adjust another mechanism. If used in this manner, perhaps it may solve someone's timing issue.

Hi Spinner361! The problem of "falling stick" (and ball) , is a classic laboratory demonstration , to show that we can get more rapid falls, than that on the vertical line.My proposal ,was intended to measure t1,t2 and t3 ,so to understand something about different kinds of drops into the gravity field.More, if we allow a path to slide on the radius(stick), for the ball, between two limits,we can notice an additionally interesting effect. It can be something alike, when a ball falls freely spinning from the top of a semi-spheric surface:at 2/3 of the height of this semi-spheric surface, the joint effect of the gravity and inertia, launchs away of the surface ,the falling-spinning ball(because if has no more support/ contact ...as inertia becomes greater as the gravity). The pendular configurations ,in my opinion, can vary, from equal arms(a nonpendulum,a balance) to one arm only(a mathematical pendulum,a "full" pendulum). That's can be theory,in the real world, we are talking about a physical pendulum:think about the counterweighted pendulum of the mechanical clock, used to adjust, regulate the equal timing. The motion of the mechanical world can be expressed in a huge diversity of pendular configurations. As in electronics, the oscillatory motion(and circuits...) is a main concern:no pulsating circuits,no modern soft technology. The Mechanics can be the next to evolve in the same manner.Take this as a particular opinion...and is common that the difference of opinion is one that makes our invisible horses( soft )races. All the Bests!/Alex

jacob,

I think you need a new keyboard. Preferably one with a space bar and the return key.

I find your threads interesting and thought provoking but they bloody hard to read!
