Site outage
Hey all, sorry for the site outage. I was out of town for five days and the site crashed shortly after I left for some reason. Sorry there was nothing I could do. I just got home and restarted the server machine. I'll try to figure out what happened but it may remain a mystery, just very unfortunate timing.
Hope you all have been saving up your posts for this moment. Now post away!

re: Site outage
From the number of emails I received, it's clear there are a whole lot of Bessler junkies out there who really missed their fix over the weekend :D
Welcome back Scott.
Welcome back Scott.

For a moment I thought that maybe Scott grew tired of the in-fighting, non-sharing and scientific in~fluency....
"to hell with you all!" and pulled the plug on the whole darn forum!
Not me Bill, I kept my cool!

Aware of my addiction to the forum, a member was kind enough to keep me indulged by sending me the following link. I found browsing the pages forward and back, almost as enjoyable as playing solitaire with a deck of 51.

Yes... it was all actually just a carefully crafted zen lesson about the dangers of attachment... :-)

I was one that DID panic. You don't appreciate how much information and research is here, until it's gone. I'm glad it's back.

After reading a little of Jim Mitch on this forum I would never have guessed he wasn't a degreed engineer. That was a shock to learn.
I wonder why that Randi thread is the 2nd most viewed thread there with almost 43,000 views. Must be a lot of people like you, Ralph, that enjoy playing solitaire with one card less than a full deck.

Having skimmed through the Randi forums, am I the only one thinking that the long-time posters there take great delight in beating to death any opposing viewpoints to their skepticism?Aware of my addiction to the forum, a member was kind enough to keep me indulged by sending me the following link.
