No, I don't read newspapers as I don't think that they are a reliable source of information, due to their need to make money by selling sensational stories. It is quite clear that newspaper accounts are frequently deliberately wrong. In passing, the Israelies are running no flights out of New York on Friday - now that's a first !! Just coincidence? You may well be right that the gravity wheel is not possible. The idea is to have a fixed pin or arm, act on the lower arm of the moving L-shaped lever, to tip it rapidly through 90 degrees at it's highest point. I have a test unit 90% built at present, so I may have an answer in a few days.

Are we saying about the same stuff? 3D wheel?

The only thing I can assure is that if one side levers will be kept bent at 90º from diameter ( insteed of the others in line ), the wheel will be absolutely unbalanced!!! Absolutely is the right word.

Bigger question is how to manage all levers ( half of them at 90º and other half at 180º ) , or small hammers. This is a question that everyday I use to shew in my mind.

The lever at 12h must go 180º, while 6h must go 90°, both at same time, taking power together, step by step.

An electric model, with fast action solenoids ( 12h and 6h by step ), would be great...
