There is no irony in the fact that different fires are fought differently. Nor is there irony in the fact that wars are fought for different reasons. When those wanting their freedom to persist are challenged by those that would prefer 'freedom go to hell' conflict naturally arises.

I really agree with those that promote the idea that 'freedom go to hell' but only if they're talking about their freedom. I think they should harness up a hand basket to their freedom and go along for the ride.

When it comes to my freedom I agree with this dead white dude from America's past.

Not really following the flavor of this thread Bessler007, I had meant this to be a lighthearted thread. But I would agree that all posts thus far ( maybe even your in retrospect ) fit the definition of irony.
