I agree. Although even if confirmed, "elongated boards" are about as helpfully descriptive as 'round ball' :D

maybe the "elongated boards" are struck by pendulum weights and they flip like a ladder toy and force the weight to follow it in a different path to a new position ready for the return swing/flip is this a way to 'gather' any cf? ....breathes in....sorry just a stream of ideas tumbled out and had to write it down...now I can go a way and think about it...disregard at you leisure lol.

the 'x's' look like increasing degrees notation maybe? like 30, 60, 90, 115 ? or scissor segments...............sigh
