Your Computer Screen Resolution?

Post by ovyyus »

I'm working on a Bessler desktop wallpaper project and I need an idea of the various monitor resolutions being used. For those who aren't sure, right click on your desktop, select 'properties', go to the 'settings' tab and your screen resolution is listed. Thanks for your feedback.

Mine is 1920 by 1200 pixels.

Mine is 1028 X 768 high pixel resolution, my puny flat LCD screen is only 12 x 9"... a sharp picture but not very big. No wonder my eyesight is failing!

why bother with a monitor ?? hook your pc to a high resolution video projector and blow it up to about 100" on the wall .

Thanks for the reply's.

Jim, I think the older we get, the bigger our monitors should be. Mine's a 24" and I expect I'll need double that within the next decade ;)

Ralph, I'll assume your res is 1024. Being so ancient, maybe you should crack an egg and replace your squinty 12" with something larger? :D

Barksalot, your resolution reminds me of the late 80's.

Doc, a video projector monitor doesn't exempt you from a screen resolution - 1024 x 768? Although you do seem to have the age/monitor size/penis length ratio completely under control :D

Trevie, your monitor was clearly made in Ireland! >g< Maybe it's a laptop?

Ant, adjusting your desktop resolution to a setting that is different to the native resolution of your monitor usually results in a degraded display image. That would be one good reason not to change it.

The most popular still seems to be 1024 x 768.
