What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?

What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?
What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us, and what would we do with it?
In my opinion it is bigger than any of us, and I feel that most of us who have put our harts and souls into this quest should have a part in it's exposer, but not half haphazardly given away either.
So if I am the one? First I would have to sit down, for standing would be very difficult to do. Then after the euphoric reactions have calmed down I would want to protect it with proper legal protection, and then expose it as soon as possible. I would not stop designing so I would make sure I would have the strongest one possible. For once the breakthrough is done the race begins. There are several people here on this forum that I would like to get on my team.

"The One"
yes who will it be ? if at all.
What kind of person will he be ?
What kind of personality, intelligence, education, upbringing, background. ?
An Engineer, A Draftsman, A Designer, A Mechanic.

If Bessler did demonstrate a working PM machine then that means
that there is something wrong with our understanding of the
"laws" of thermodynamics. (I strongly suspect that is the case.)
Today, if anyone were to demonstrate a PM machine there
would be an intense effort to review and revise this realm
of science. (The race would be on for eventual Nobel prizes.)
This is sort of like the recent developments in high temperature
superconductors. One almost "accidental" breakthrough in
an obscure lab and suddenly labs around the world have
the best scientist and billions of dollars researching it.
If PM is at all possible, then there are likely many ways or
variations of ways to do it. A patent of a particular device
might end up a waste of time. It is like patenting a particular
chemical formula for a high temperature superconductor.
New compounds/formulas are developed/tested every month.
Please, people! Don't think too small.
By some people's perspective, mankind's greatist "invention"
was FIRE (or control and use thereof).
Development of a clean/cheap/safe "industrially large" enegy
source would begin a major transformation of civilization.
So a working PM would be mankind's second greatist invention.
For now, just figure out how to make a PM machine work.
Without step 1 there is really no need to worry about step 2.

I suppose that you are implying " don't think too much about self interest and personal gain" Bill. Please, people! Don't think too small.
If that's the case, then I must agree with you strongly here.
The fact that no one has yet found the solution seems to point to the fact that we, and those before us are not looking in the right places.
In regard to the question "What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us" ?
To me it just means a fascinating mystery that has, and still is, driving me nuts trying to come up with a way to harness gravity. I really could not care less about personal fortune or fame.
I do harbor very angry feelings towards Mr Bessler for not revealing such an important discovery to the world.

I believe that most of us and those before us are not looking in the right place. Most continue to look to gravity as the source of energy for a Bessler type wheel. Maybe this is why a solution is not found?graham wrote:The fact that no one has yet found the solution seems to point to the fact that we, and those before us are not looking in the right places.

When a solution is revealed there will be a need for true Bessler believers of perpetual motion to help spread the message.

Dont be angry Graham.
It wasnt the right time for free energy.
The Human race has to go through all the sciences in turn.
Combustion technology has to be run to its fulfillment, then, once we have learnt everything about it, we can move on.
And God will decide when that is. It will be one of us that has a simple "light bulb moment" that will change everything.
I think that day is soon.

re: What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?
AB Hammer asks: "What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us, and what would we do with it?"
Firstly . . .
To me it means the test; that simple one setup by Bessler that failed utterly to be met, because greed, envy and oh-so-small human dimensioned pettiness won-out. Those who could have risen above themselves, and done right by all that was right and still is, chose not to!
It was classic 'penny-wise and pound-foolish' nonsense all over again, a bona fide great big human specialty of ours, as I have observed it personally, on numerous occasions.
"Why PAY for it when we can maybe STEAL IT, and have it for nothing?"
Yes, why?
Once again, the test has first to be passed by humanity, or the Wheel goes right back into it's mystery box, for perhaps yet another three centuries, or for whatever a period is necessary, to get this lesson learned finally, by the teeming bone-headed among us.
"Pay the man, damn it, then get on with it!", would neatly sum-it-up, I think.
So, by whatever means as may be required, the discoverer, I believe, is to FIRST be made right and whole, as regards his future and safety, THEN THE WORLD, in that precise order!
Selfish? You bet it is, but small first things first, just as Bessler rightly demanded back then, in his time. In this regard, I say, there should be NO diversions from the Bessler Plan.
And, yes, if the wheel were to somehow burst-forth from this very quarter, right things would be attended-to first and fully, or, that early loss of ultimate treasure would soon be repeating itself, once again, make no mistake.
(At least here, one would not dealing with a posturing, platitudinous hypocrite.)
Secondly . . .

The cylinder and spheres could be the secrete. Why don’t you (all) build one?
Bessler probably disengaged a pendulum at the appropriate time so that it absorbed energy from the wheel. But you don’t even need one of his designs you could build one of your own.

Anyhow, besides these 300 years that seppare JB from me in 2008, I'm afraid he doesn't like me very much.
Today his picture looks to scoff and make mockery of me.
Why should his picture show me his red tongue?
His tongue is so red, but so red, that I think he's alived!
Yes, JB is alived and possibly together to JFK and Elvis Presley in some same good hospital!
Please... send me news upon his health! ( or mine... :(
I had a vision!!!! Without this visions things go better... I guess...
Cheers...

re: What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?
My answer to that question would be that the phrase "equal and opposite reaction" doesn't always apply.
Look, I've thought about this long and hard and all I can say is:
I believe that even those of you who are not ignorant, should you attempt to use pure REASON alone to achieve your ends will, all of you, suffer from the same noted madness, and that thus your great chance of fame will be missed
:-)...

re: What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?
Oh contraire Damian .. imo, pure reason is an utterly ruthless master & will eventually force the answer from its concealed hiding place, by those that can wield it responsibly - it cares not for whim or fancy but dines only on cold hard facts - our job is to discern those facts & mix them with a modicum of intelligent conjecture, & not go mad in the process ;7)
re: What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?
I agree Fletcher. Reason will eventually separate warm fuzzy emotion from cold hard fact. Needing things to be a certain way, when they are clearly not, is the ultimate recipe for madness :)
re: What does Bessler's secret mean to each of us?
Welcome back Fletcher.
Is that really you in the photo? You look quite serious, sort of like you want to punch someone on the nose.
