Hi Graham .. I usually have to work hard at a serious face, so I had to practice, LOL - just goes to show that a little weight loss can make you so fit you're dangerous :7) Wasn't in a jovial mood the day I took that one & had just had a GI buzz cut the day before, for extra badness *grin*

Secondly . . .

To me it also means armies of various main-stream science types eating their ties, sent all Saakashvilli-like by their crumbling, defective view of reality as each new horror-realization manifests.

Tons, and tons, and tons of rotten black crow meat, feathers and beaks and claws (open WIDE, you lab coat!) force-fed into them, as just thanks for their centuries (and this goes on presently, Simanek being the most cheeky and "cute" of the arrogant degreed class) of sniggering, snide and puffing cruelty, as directed at every struggling dreamer and searcher who ever 'dared' seek-after the supposed "chimera", as they so-love to ridicule and torment-with, way too often.

REVENGE, it is called, and when applied just right, is ever-so-sweet!!! (Who among you has ever tasted the real thing, reveling in it honestly and without self-loathing??? Very, very, very few, is my guess.)

And given all the history known from since his time, to such a propostion Bessler would be MOST enthusiastic, and so, I would do this for him, in his name. The bâtards have it coming!

Thirdly . . .

Most enthusiastic you say ??

He did not behave in a normal or predictable manner in his lifetime and so I believe he would want the secret NEVER to be revealed by you or anyone else that might stumble upon the holy grail.

So James, do this for yourself and mankind . Bessler might get some recognition from your success but it's not what he deserves.

Graham,

I believe I understand why you wrote what and as you did. I take it to be, as well as various else that you've done, well considered and expressed, but, it would seem that we differ as to upon whom the great onus for that early, tragic series of "missteps" belongs truly!

I, too, was tempted to believe like-wise, and did so for awhile, but have since sea-changed my view.

Human nature does not morph over just a few hundreds of years time. The same opposing types such as Bessler battled back then, are still here, among us, on this very board, even, pretending to be that which they really are not, nor ever could be. They give themselves away always, and this mostly by acts of omission done. They know well who and what they are: the Borlachs, the Wagners and that other one, belly-crawling vermin all, doubtless already scented with thir perfume of brimstone to-come.

No, each and every one of you (us) have been PUT TO THE TEST!

Will we pass it after THESE three centuries have gone by, or, once again FAIL??

[Judging by what I have seen pass for graciousness on this site, and been subjected to personally, I am not brimming-over with high confidence, as to a positive outcome. Please forgive me my cynicism?]

The fault was not Bessler's; it was and is OURS!!!

As I wrote in "Firstly . . .", "We shall see!", and very soon!

Kind Regards

James I see your point that human nature played a very large role in causing Bessler not to reveal his secret. The side of human nature of those who scorned and derided his demonstrations as if he were a scam artist or had just built nothing more than a toy. Was it envy or disbelief ?

But knowing full well that it was genuine and be of great benefit to all of mankind he chose to keep it to himself.
He did not even allow for it to be revealed after his death.

He failed the test to rise above his human ego and vanity and show some compassion toward his fellow man.

Graham,

Thank you for the interesting thoughts.

You wrote "But knowing full well that it was genuine and be of great benefit to all of mankind he chose to keep it to himself."

He certainly did "keep it to himself" all right, but as to the ". . . great benefit to all of mankind . . ." part, I'm really not so sure, Graham.

Were there any of that day who thought in such ways, as to what might have been of that kind of worldly benefit? Maybe the Pope (sort of) or Die Freimaurerei, but it could not have been very many, I think. The philosophers of then, or of to soon come?

Also, the need for such a miracle as a wheel that went forever was not then nearly-so, as it is today, we now being practically frantic for it.

Curiously, in addition you allowed that "He did not even allow for it to be revealed after his death."

Can we really be so sure of this? As I recall, Bessler was CRYSTAL CLEAR as to the effect that the right seer of certain things left within his "MT", would lead that one to an operating wheel.

Of course, not an instruction book to-be-sure, but nevertheless, THERE anyway!

"SEEK, and ye shall find!"

I still do assert that it was A TEST of us, and still is, and despite our present whinings and writhings because of doing without, it was right and proper what he did, and the way he did it.

Please, don't get me wrong; I am still convincible contrarily.
