Bessler video
I've posted a video on youtube at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BWVKtpuzn0
I'm just trying to spread the word about Bessler and most of you already know everything that is in the video, but I thought you might be interested to see it anyway. It has had to be cut drastically to keep it short but it might gather up a few additional Besserites. Please don't shoot the messenger, just take on board the message.
Thanks,
JC

Greetings John
I looked at your video and it is well done. I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars.

Hello, I did the same just now. It's fantastic what you've done, John. It's so important to make Bessler and his invention more known. Thank you.
re: Bessler video
It is all about spreading the word!
Not sour about the content and presentation of your video though.
But it is a first!
Tried your blog, but it was to no avail.

Nice professional job John on your posted YouTube video.
You said on your blog it is a very short version of your original video on Bessler.
I would love to see your long version.
You should make it available on your website with your books.
I would buy a copy.

Thanks guys. The long version is 25 minutes and has some embarrasing clips of me at work in my workshop, but also includes more information about the people like Leibniz and 'sGravesand - nothing in it that you don't know already. A friend advised me to try to cut it down to about four minutes as he said that that was regarded as the optimum length for a youtube video, I got close.
Sorry MC, wasn't the blog available?

...... having just bought the book (I see it's £100 on Amazon) or rather the download which is better and cheaper (£10) and search-able.
Only disadvantage, I can't read it on the bog. ;-)

re: Bessler video
John, your video deserves many more views then it currently has!
One thing I noticed is the video does not appear with a search for Bessler's wheel or perpetual motion. I have never posted a video but isn't there a way to have it show up in numerous searches?

Nice presentation John. I cannot remember where, but I read rumors that Leibniz was convinced that Bessler was not a fraud and that is what had me take a look at the possibility of a self regenerative gravity engine. Was this information in manuscripts from Bessler or Leibniz?

re: Bessler video
Thanks BAR. Yes the information is available from Leibniz's correspondence with other writers and I have detailed the contents in my book. There is also other evidence that he actually visited Bessler and examined the wheel for two hours. It was his suggestion that Bessler set up a fool proof long running test. I think he had in mind a test of one week but in the end Bessler allowed the wheel to run for a total of 54days.
Thanks to you too, justsomeone, I have added other tags to the video but there may be other ways of making it more visible. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be pleased to hear them.

@ John Collins
I have just finished reading your book. I was particularly taken with the account of the vertical windmill since just as the Carnot cycle is a good model to use in approaching the problem of obtaining energy from the gravitational wind, the windmill sailing directly into the wind is also a good model for understand how one can apply jujitsu to the wind.
Not many people realise that one can sail directly into the wind, i.e. one can progress at 180[sup]o[/sup] to the wind providing one has an inertial ground to react on. In the case of the Bessler Wheel this inertial ground is the wheel bearings of course.
For examples of land yachts which sail directly into the wind search for "ventomobil" on YouTube and you will find plenty of examples. Most of them are the propeller type but there is at least one which uses a vertical windmill.
