I plan to save the world...

Post by Oxygon »

Just so everyone knows... ;P

Do you really think PM would save the world?...

I know we all "plan" to save the world... or at least get rich...

Is now in todays political/financial climate good for PM...?

Is that changing...?

I keep hearing more and more about alt energy because of recent studies and climate changes, species loss, etc...

Hello Oxygon

I believe everything to be a lost caues, especialy with world events and the Middle East ! ...."events will get much worse"

So the answer is "NO WAY" that perpetual motion to save this natural green world (with what we still have left)

The reason I say this is because I feel "strongly" about the prophecies of Nostradamus. Here are just a few

THE COMMING YEARS
The rise of a massive military power destined to move out of the Middle East into Europe
The apathy and incompetence of European leaders, with disastrous consequences for their countries.
The resulting occupation and devastation of many parts of Europe and the world including Greese, Italy, spain, France.
Repression of Christianity and persecution of the Church.
Severe flooding due to rising sea levels.

The Antichrist is very soon laid low. Seven years and twenty shall his battle stand. Dissenters dead, captives to exile go. Blood corpses, reddened water pock the land.

From traid watery he'll take his birth, and from that one where Thursday is made feast: His fame, praise, rule and power shall spread on earth. By land and sea storming the farthest East.

Twice raised to giddy hight, then twice brought low. The East shall weaken and the West shall pall. After so many battles shall the foe, pursued at sea if need be, slip and fall.

Mars, Venus, sun in Leo: to Arab lord shall Christendom at length by sea succumb. Some million men Iran shall move forward: To Nile and Istanbul coiled snake shall come to Europe.

From Iran come fair Trebizond to take. With Arab blood the Adriatic sea swims red: Paros and sunny Lebos quake.

At the world's centre rules the mighty rose, for new designs with state blood profligate. If truth were told, t'were best one's mouth to close, even if what's to come must needs come late.

When Mabus shortly dies, shall snsue of man and beast a laying wast most dread. Then suddenly shall vengeance heaven in view: Thirst, famine, blood, with comet overhead.

A mighty Muslim chief shall come to birth, in country fortunate of Arabs. He'll take Granada, trouble Spanish earth and conquer the Italians from the sea.

With murder stained and malefactions vast, he'll be the enemy of all men living. Far worse than any like him in the past, by sword, fire, water, bloody, unforgiving.

Seven kings in turn death's hand shall smite, hail, tempest, plague and furious desecrators: The Eastern King shall put the West to fight and subjugate his former subjugators. A Libyan leader in the West ascendant shall make the French against Islam irate. To literacy scholars condescendent, the Arabs into French he shall translate.

Saturn and Jupiter in Aries met: Eternal God, what changes are in train! in France and in Italy what stirrings yet, as the slow round brings evil times again.

In Cyprus they the fierce assault prepare (Weep now your comming ruin at the altar!). Arabs and Turks the evil deed shall share, 'twist seperate fleets: huge ruin via Gibraltar.

A year before war comes to Italy, French, Germans, Spaniards shall think might is right. When falls their infantile republic, see how right is mostly choked to death by might.

From naples north as Florence falls, no drop of rain for six months and nine days. An alien tongue across Dalmatia calls. Ere running on, the land entire to raze.

Muslims at war, all clad in headdress black: 'Midst bloodshed shall the great Dalmatia quake. The mighty Arabs press home their attack: When Lisbon helps, though, all their tongues shall shake.

Milk, blood, strange tongues over Dalmatia, contagion near Balennes, and joined the fight. Great is the cry throughtout Slavonia. When first Ravenna's monster sees the light.

In Kvarner's Gulf (Adriatic) shall northern fighters die. The chief of the Muslims' pillage shall deplore.

Great Po for France great woes endures, alas! The British lion at sea no terrors bind. A race unnumbered shall the ocean pass. A quarter-million no escape shall find.

On Latin plains so fertile and so wide. So many flies and locusts shall have bred, that the sun's light shall have denied, and, eating all, great pestilence they'll spread.

Near to Lugano falls he from Valenza, while Venice from the sea shall face the foe.

Secret explores under colours fickle, shall be sent forth by seven with shaven pates. In wells and fountains they shall poison the trickle. Man shall eat man within Genoa's gates.

Up stormy Danube Muslim vessels fare. At sea, troop-carrying ships off to Sicily. The mighty Arab ever onward goes, by land and sea dreadful things befall.

Flee! Flee! Geneva, each and every one! Saturn shall pure Gold into iron change. Land of the rose wipes father out and son. Before th' assault shall signs the sky derange. When into view swim the bearded star. The three great lords shall comrads be no more. Peace from the sky is shattered, earth a-jar; Po, Tiber seethe; snake lands upon the shore. (COMET STRIKES THE EARTH)

These are only a few pages, and there is a lot more reading. The book is called 'Nosradamus the next 50 years ........Author Peter Lemesurier 1997

Doom and gloom events might happen... or might not.
A Bessler wheel solution might be found... or might not.
A comet might hit the earth... or might not.

What I'm trying to say is... what will happen will happen. Do the best you can with what you have. Always try to improve yourself and the world around you. Enjoy life. Why dwell on horrible events that might... or might not happen? And why dwell on wonderful events that might... or might not happen?

Will PM save the world? It might... or it might not. I would not set my hope on saving the world on any single idea or concept.

Just my opinons, which might be right... or might not.

There is one more knowing than Nostradamus.

2Tm:3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

M't:24:3: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

M't:24:4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

M't:24:5: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

M't:24:6: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

M't:24:7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

M't:24:8: All these are the beginning of sorrows.

M't:24:9: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

M't:24:10: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

M't:24:11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

M't:24:12: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

M't:24:13: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

M't:24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Re:22:10: And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Re:22:11: He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Re:22:12: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Re:22:13: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Re:22:14: Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Re:22:15: For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Re:22:16: I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Re:22:17: And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

I am, by no means, a fanatic, just a realist.

The bible is the oldest book known to mankind. It's the only book which gives an account of the beginning and the end of mankind. It's prophecy's have proven true through the ages. There are no contradictions.

Doom and Gloom will happen.

Will the "wheel" come before then? I think the "wheel" may play a large part in it.

Interesting subject for a PM board.

Leinad....it is comforting for me, to see you give deference to the Holy Scriptures despite your apparent support of Nostradamus, who by his own admission, would not have lasted a moment in the company of David, or Moses.....both of whom would have dispatched him on the spot. The bible strongly condemned spiritism and divination, both of which Nostradamus availed himself. No, the bible's messages are best not interpreted or subborned by use of the scrawlings of a divinator.....no matter how enticing the words given him.

YAH bless
As most of humanity suffers under tyrants, misled by the devil and his cohorts who've recently been thrown down here, nothing short of Yahshua, King of Kings, will remove these oppressors and bring everlasting peace.

I hope you're joking Sevich. If you're going to believe in Nostradamus, at least believe in what he actually wrote. I've heard many of his more 'accurate' actual quatrains read on TV, and they are nothing like Lemesurier's interpretation of them. In fact, they're nothing like anything in particular.
I agree with Leinad44.
Back to the original topic, I agree with Jim-mich and think we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Every year I hear 'new' predictions of impending global doom. Asteroid impact, angels of the apocalypse, galactic superburst, ideological intolerance, disease, alien invasion, nanotechnology gone wrong, Nostrodamus redux, planetary alignments, Lex Luther, etc, etc. Yet here we still are, business as usual.

Apparently, nothing lasts forever and sooner or later the end will come for each and every one of us. But I guess the rest of the World will continue on regardless and forget our own personal armageddons - little blips on the screen that soon fade from view. Fear of death seems to do crazy things to crazy people.

IMO, a new energy source will probably have about as much effect on our collective lives as TV or air travel. I think we'll still love and hate, regardless of what's in the back shed. But then again, as Jim said, we might not :)

Techstuf, I didn't mean to infer that I supported Nostradamus. I think, he, at best, presented his own interpretation of scriptures. I don't read him. The best way to know a lie, is to know the truth.

Now back to the "wheel", you know one from the ancient times saw a wheel.

Ezekiel:1:16: The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Ezekiel:1:19: And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

A wheel within a wheel????

Now, I'd like to have those drawings.

omg...

I knew some of you were a bit loony*, but...

OK, religious beliefs aside...

I don't believe that the human race is doomed (DooooOOOOOMMMED!), I believe that technoligy will progress enough to compete with "Oil" and the climate changes will continue to push the alt. energy field to the task...

When organic solar cells are easy and cheap to produce... that'l be good...

Engine modifications and design like "Displacement-On-Demand", "Electronic Controlled Tuning", New Combustion Tech. and "Hydrogen-On-Demand" for alternative fuels vehichles will continue to evolve...

... etc, etc, etc...

I mean come'on guys...

The internet is just starting to make the utilization the the vast resources of human computational power flourish... we are questioning old conclusions and thinking "outside the box"...

I expect alot of stuff to come out in the next 5 years...

p.s. - I have read the many diff. bible/s my entire life and was never coerced into any specific religion, There were times when the internal logic gets to ya, but watch that you dont get all wrapped up in yourself... theres alot of goofy stuff in there, be wary...(bears eating children, etc...) to get an overall view of the times and bias, read them all and remember... keep an open mind, just be carefull your brain dont fall out... ;)

*=(but that's OK)

A wheel within a wheel!

Many times I've thought about that verse and wondered if there is some type of mechanism of wheels within wheels that would produce a lifting force. And could the mechanism be reversed to harness gravity?
Hmmmm...

That passage in Ezekiel has always intrigued me too. But like all other 'clues', it's almost worthless.

You would think PMM seekers would have to be "positive" people, guess not.

Instead we get a bunch of doom and gloomers...
