I noticed this oddity about two years ago, and now that the importance of the number five has been revealed, it clicked into place for me. It does not seem to be any type of real clue, but it IS an OBVIOUS example of Bessler pointing at the number five again.
The clue is in Bessler's portrait, (not the workshop portrait). Look at the shelf behind Bessler, the lines on all the (jugs, containers, or whatever they are) all go the same direction, except one. This creates a 'V'. (which I always mistook for an arrow directing the observer to his sleeve). I hadn't read about anyone else mentioning this, so I figured I'd post it.

Isn't it the 14th visible vase!? MT14?! MT15!? ..

It would be very logical to be a pointer at MT15, because in reality you see 15 vases; counting the one on the table!

MT15 is drawn CCW instead of all the other CW wheels.. Like the vase, it is inverted.. There is something there in fact..

Btw, is it me or bessler's got 6 fingers on his left hand!?

It's you! Come on guys. Five in his lips. Five in minutia in the scene! You know what else has five in it? His hands. And I'm glad you mentioned his hand by the way, because that is the table texture behind his fingers. But, you know God may be hiding something in each and every one of us! Maybe five is special. Most of us have five fingers and five toes.

2009 may indeed be the year, but not by finding silly things that ultimately don't tell anything. So what if all these fives and fifty fives are really put there? Then what?

You are obviously all free to see what you want. I believe some see too much in some areas and not enough in others, including John Collins, but I'll let others post on that subject.

My post recently with the 3 pentagrams attached to the Apologia wheel was somewhat sarcastic to signify that it is easy to see things that aren't really there. Some shapes can be seen everywhere. And why emphasise 5 so many times. A few times would suffice.

Also a V is really just a pivoting joint. Also a connection between 2 lines. It can be found everywhere. In this room where I sit there are probably thousands of Vs. Or Ls.

So I agree we are probably wildly reading what could be non existent signs. But it is really good to go along this path in case something meaningful is discovered.
