Whether I as an Aussie like or dislike Obama, I too am surprised...no, astounded as to why he got the Nobel Peace prize. That prize has lost all credibility!

The Nobel Peace Prize now stands for the following principles:

Standing armies are great and should be made larger
War is okay as long as a democrat wages it
Military occupation of foreign lands is fine
The relentless killing of civilians in the name of "democracy" is just dandy
Stating that you'd like to close Gitmo is good enough, you don't have to do anything else
