re: The Universal Gravity Wheel I promised you all, is IN H
Everytime someone new comes here with an idea, I learn something new as well! .. Like the hook idea, it might be simple and maybe some already thought of it, but personally, I didn't think about using a hook like that before! ..
Thanks Raj!
Thanks Raj!

Your concept is almost identical in concept to the first wheel that I built in 1999, except that you used different means.
Basically a pendulum-type weight is caught/latched as it rides the rim. This allows the wheel to lift the weight up higher. Then when the weight is released it swings to the far side where it is again caught/latched. Your latching system is simpler than mine was. And using two strings eliminates the need to catch/latch on the descending side thus making the latching much more reliable on the ascending side.
The bottom line is I could not get the idea to work. After ten years of learning and study I no longer see any reason for it to work. The reason is latency. By the time the weight swings to the far side it is too late to help turn the wheel.

Thanks a lot Jim. A appreciate your contribution.
I would still like you to add more of your analysis in here.
Please do.

Excellent thoughts raj.
Here is my very old latching design. Of no effect.

I only realized too late that life was short.

Hello Raj
You have learned something very valuable with your drawing and you can obviously concieve how things will change in a rotating referance frame which i consider to be a ver large stumbling block for many. Your latch shows one of the things that i believe is very important in our journey.
I do see some small issues with other basics.
In your picture,
The weight in the seven o'clock position is hanging from a string on the outermost edge of the circle at 11 and even though the string is taught at 4 oclock 99% of the weight of that mech would be on the pivot.
Your driving weight at 3 oclock is not exerting its full weight on the pivot of your latch. If it is being pulled taught against the innermost edge of the catch then it is sharing its weight between the pivot of the latch and the mounting point of the string at 1 oclock.
Even with this poor static analysis you are experiencing some OOB at certain times. I'm sure as you rotate the machine just as the ascending weight leaves the latch you get imeddiate ccw rotational torque, And this combined with the fact that you are pulsing the pivot of that weight causes you to overshoot the latch/catch on the descending side.
I spent many hours as you are with this type of setup. It is most fun and their is much more than i have said to learn from it. Unfortunately with my poor skills at explaining things you will do well to play with you model for awhile longer as that is where the true discovery is.

You ALL call yourselves BIG SHOTS in gravity wheels and perpetual motion machines, studying, analysing and pretending to know more than anybody else on Bessler's so-called famous wheel and the hundreds of other and own designs that you all refer to, continuously, in this forum.
I INVITED you all to comment on my gravity wheel, having done more that anybody on this forum, by unashamedly, disclosing my complete concept with drawings and description on how it works.
And you all found NOTHING to say.
I can only guess the reason of your silence.
I thank all for letting me on this forum for a few days.
THIS IS my last post.

Lol, what's going on with people these days ...

Hi Raj,
I think you have a bad case of PMT. You may have to talk to some proffesional mobilists for help.
PMT is Perpetual Motion Trauma and results sometimes from the shock of getting your favourite PM theory knocked down.
How PMT is handled is what separates the men from the wooses.
Wooses never go on to design two !.
Regards Art

Have had the solution to Bessler's Wheel approximately monthly for over 30 years ! But next month is "The One" !

1. Real seekers ( varied reasons to numerous to mention ).
2. People suffering from delusions of grandeur ( Modified, in its worst cases leading to meglomania, or worse yet psychotic behavior - to 3 ).
3. Crazies.
4, Skeptics having their version of fun.
Take your pick.

raj,
don't assume silence shows lack of interest in your idea.
There are those that look at it, don't understand it fully and can't be bothered examining it further.
Others that immediately see it won't work and are tired of explaining why designs won't work to new members, since those reasons remain the same ones, over and over again.
Then you'll get a few enlightening comments which you are grateful for.
We return to the old story that if you have a design you are proud of, sure, share it and I'm sure many appreciate it. But most of us won't stand up and take notice unless you have a build that actually works, or visually (ideally through movement) shows something truly unique. This means more effort involved on your part.
We get emotionally attached to designs we are excited about, and we can get hurt when the world doesn't jump up and down and say "wow, you are amazing". Because words simply don't cut it.
"Nothing is achieved" until that wheel turns. So be proud of what you have designed. Well done. But don't take lack of response as a lack of interest. I have learnt this lesson myself.
(And ps ignore those idiots on Overunity.com who enjoy berating this site.)
pss, raj, you never commented on my design I posted, I'm hurt :(

Michael,
A natural evolutionnary process: 3. or considered so; partly 4. (this excludes hoaxters) leading on to 1. Point two is hard to deal with...
In clearer terms, a pretty typical profile might be a person who is considered mad or excentric (neither meaning lacking in intelligence) who doesn't believe in PM or hasn't any real interest, said person then becomes vaguely amused by spinning things about, then intrigued, moving on to a "there could well be something in this" mindset, then observing things which lead to a active interest, purposeful experiment and building. Delusions are part of the process or you wouldn't have illusions, and without illusions you would give up fast. Illusions of grandeur when manifested in the form of stuborn insistance of success of a single device which doesn't work are quite acceptable, except when they lead to attacking all people who don't venerate, in which case they are a right real pain in the rectum.
By the way Raj, this is in no way related to you or an attack on you, or a description of you.

If you think you have an overunity device, think again, there is no such thing. You might just possibly have an unexpectedly efficient device. In which case you will be abducted by MIB and threatened by aliens.
