I deeply disagree to our Leonardo:

Hi all, I will give it a go,

Unhappy is the man who thinks, when people say is invention stinks,

This can be so upsetting, when you have sold your house and are subletting.

What goes round come around, but still there is no Besslers sound.

Eight knocks suddenly appear, but owe my God the rent mans hear.

Its a wise man that keeps he cool, and that is why I am such a fool!

Happy New Year!

Palindromes Rune.

What bet was that oh runic man?
When my predictions hit the fan
Only Heaven knows who's right.
What tunnel at which end shall bright
Illuminate our earnest quest
And prove that my guess was the best?

Well howdy Whatford (Trevor Lyn)
Your scanning's so poor it's a sin
Your poetry's as bad as mine
And mine's not worth a single dime
But what the heck its fun to see
How bad our rhyming gets to be!

That's all folks - I promise ;-)

Hi JC,

I am sorry for no eloquence, but here stands a man with little sense.

Even though I took my time, I still did struggle to make it rhym.

Even if your guess is best, please give credit to all the rest.

For second best I would settle, as that would still show my metal!

Second best is long forgotten
Therein lies the rub
For when we hold our glasses high
It's never for but one

But hang on mates where have we gotten
When those within our club
Toil and sweat in soil so dry
And never see the Sun

There once was a man called JC
Who all thought was a tad crazy
Said he had a wheel
That would spin, simply squeal
But did stop with a plop: it was lazy!

So he tweaked and he prodded and poked
As the masses did taunt and they joked
But a wheel did emerge
With an all mighty surge
And the BW crowd hence was stoked

And Damian, the man, did awoke.
Twas a dream, a laugh, and a joke.
The wheel, not here yet.
Still open, twas the bet.
Take your pick, spoke, poke, chock or yoke.

The wheel we are certain must surely appear,
we wait and think this has to be the year.

My wife screams why is it still not here ?,
I profess that i must need one more gear.

All the secrets i must live in fear,
to clear my head i drink much beer.

Just moments ago it seemed so clear,
but maybe that cart does belong in the rear.

My flail just hit the little man in the ear,
at this rate he will never want to throw his spear.

I can already hear your cries my dear,
this isn't the kinda poem we wanted to hear, so i'll stop and you all have a happy new ........

And thats why i'm NOT a writer.

Hi James Kelly, I have a tip for you, have you got a bucket handy?

Leave some beer upon the ground, its not as silly as it sounds,

So when you fall upon the floor, pull the ring and have some more!!

I will stop now and the only thing I can say in my defence is it was John who started it, so blame him!!

James

I always thought the beer bag was a great idea. It is kind of like a shoulder bag but its sealed you have a flexible straw that goes to the mouth so you keep both hand free to work. And of course if you fall you still have your bear.

Hi Alan,

to work! I want a job with you! I love the idea you could get two more beers!

The down side is the girls will wise up and get you doing the house work.

I bet a hydration pack would do the trick....until the beer goes flat anyway.

Happy New Year Everyone!! :-)

Oh BTW it's cold here and snowed the other day, so to all of you who are barbecuing out by the pool.....I am a little jealous!
