Scott, Do you keep the statistics of the amount of time we are logged on to this web site?

Thanks.

Umm... maybe press the 'statistics' button at the top of every page?

It is there for the top 10 in the section called "Most Logged On Users" http://www.besslerwheel.com/forum/statistics.php

It is also on everyone's profile page, called "Total Online Duration."

I don't see it on everyone's profile page.

Hm, you're right. I see it on everyone's profile page but only when I'm logged in as administrator, not as a regular user. I can make that field visible to all users if no one objects to the privacy implications.

Or you could just make me an administrator. ;)

Actually many may not want their wifes knowing how much time we spend here.

What about the privacy of the top ten? ;)

During my early years here on the forum I was using a very slow speed dialup.(28 Kbs actual speed using a 56 Kbs modem due to 5 miles of copper phone line.) Thus I racked up many hours just waiting for pages to load.

Now I use a WildBlue satellite dish that gives me 0.5 Mbps maximum speed on a good day. And about half that or less when sharing the satellite with many other users. Plus there is always about a four second delay after each click before the next page begins to load.

If I wasn't so squeaky tight with my money I could pay an extra $20 per month for 4x the speed.

I hadn't looked at the statistics in a while but I was fascinated to see that the tenth most popular word used on this forum was .....'Ralph'!

Other words were all related to Bessler, such as wheel, weight etc.

After all these years, Ken still has the most amount of words. What a legacy.
