Nice animation!!!
Will need to chase around for round magnets if one was to be built.
I guess block magnets could be used for the center section?

It didnt work... but I feel it was my fault somehow, being that I distinctly remember a constant flow...
Haven't had time to attempt a larger diameter hose, etc... yet.
I suppose I'll give this one an attempt... Can't say I have the material, time or talent... I'll see what I can throw together...
still don't hesitate to try it either, if you find the time...

I dont think you'll need a round one... just a regular magnet within a round structure... to reduce friction and allow "slip"
I suppose the central magnetic confinement "oval-like" structure could be just a box... as long as you keep the round shape of the magnetic axis...
I would suggest a plastic vaneer over wood... or some type of thin material with no grain over the wood...

I don't think this slip wheel will work either. If you have a weight on a string, and you twirl it around, you can make it speed up by pumping it with a back and forth motion like the center of this device has. I think the problem is that this pumping takes energy, and in this device that energy comes from the rotation.

Actually increasing speed and torque...
remember the inner circle of magnets has a denser field in reference to the inner axial magnet then the outer magnet has with the wall (which since anchored by the axial magnet is restricted to torsional magnetic attraction)

That's my point, that is what I was calling "pumping", and it takes energy to do that. That energy comes from the energy stored when the center magnet is twisted and becomes opposed to the inner magnet ring. And that twisting energy came from the rotation of the rotor. It seems to me that A powers B powers C powers A. If the energy released when the center magnet moves straight were greater than the energy it took to twist it into opposition to the inner magnet ring, then it would work, but I don't think that happens.

My take on the device shown is there is no way for the sphere nearest the end point to escape given the energy (pull) of the next sphere into the field is less than it takes to allow the end point sphere to escape...
"Axial Proximity" is the way to go...
here is how an idea of mine works...

Near the end of the cycle the magnetic influence of the orbital track tapers to as close to the axis as possible...Making the armature into a lever, switching from the main motive power (magnetic and gravitational) to inertial...
